Does TONOR Have Software? Drivers, App Compatibility, and Fixes

TONOR says the TM20 and G11 USB conference microphones need no driver software, but app and device compatibility varies by model. Here is what to check and how to troubleshoot a mic that is not recognized.

For the TONOR TM20 and G11 USB conference microphones, TONOR says no driver software is required: connect the microphone and select it as your audio input in the computer or app. That does not establish that every TONOR product works without software or is compatible with every app. Check the exact model before downloading anything or troubleshooting.

Is there a TONOR software download or driver?

The official product pages for the TM20 and G11 describe them as plug-and-play USB microphones for Windows and macOS and say they require no driver software. The TM20 page says, “Just plug it into a laptop/desktop and get started, no driver software is required.”

A driver is not the same as an audio app. Zoom, Discord, and Audacity are separate applications that can use a microphone; they are not TONOR drivers. Even with a plug-and-play mic, you may need to choose it as the input device in your operating system or within the app. The no-driver statement applies to the cited models, not to every TONOR device or accessory. Use the current documentation for your exact model rather than installing a generic driver from an unrelated download site.

Which apps and devices are compatible?

TONOR’s FAQ lists compatibility by model. Its published list is not a guarantee for every TONOR microphone, operating-system version, connection, or app version.

What to check before connecting a TONOR microphone

  • Find the precise model name on the microphone, packaging, or product listing.
  • Check whether it connects by USB, receiver, or another method; compatibility can depend on that connection.
  • Look up the model in TONOR’s FAQ or current product documentation for the operating system, app, and device you plan to use.
  • After connecting a USB mic, select it as the input in your computer’s audio settings and in the relevant conferencing or recording app if needed.
