Yes. Samsung lists the Galaxy S26, S26+, and S26 Ultra as eSIM-capable, and its Korea specifications describe the SIM configuration as “SIM 1 + eSIM / Dual eSIM.” Whether you can activate an eSIM on your own phone still depends on its regional model, your country, and carrier and plan support.
What Galaxy S26 eSIM support means
Samsung’s supported-model list includes the Galaxy S26 series. The Korea product specifications list “SIM 1 + eSIM / Dual eSIM.” That describes the supported SIM configuration; it does not guarantee that every regional variant, carrier, or plan can use eSIM. Samsung says availability varies by country, carrier, and when a model is available in a market.

Before setup, ask your carrier whether eSIM is supported for your exact Galaxy S26 model and plan. The carrier provides the eSIM provisioning method and, when applicable, the QR code or activation code.

Choose an activation method
Samsung documents three ways to add a carrier eSIM: carrier Simple Setup, scanning a carrier QR code, or entering an activation code. Which options appear depends on carrier and regional support. If you are moving an existing number from another compatible Galaxy or Android phone, Samsung also documents a device-to-device transfer flow.

Carrier Simple Setup
- Open Settings > Connections > SIM manager.
- Tap Add eSIM. If your carrier supports Samsung’s Simple Setup flow, the plan can download and activate automatically.
Scan a carrier QR code
- Get an eSIM QR code from your carrier.
- On the Galaxy S26, open Settings > Connections > SIM manager > Add eSIM > Scan QR code.
- Scan the carrier’s code and follow the prompts. Samsung says the eSIM downloads and activates through this flow.
Enter an activation code
- Get the activation code from your carrier.
- Open Settings > Connections > SIM manager > Add eSIM > Scan QR code > Enter activation code.
- Enter the code issued by your carrier and follow the on-screen instructions.
Transfer a SIM from another Galaxy or Android phone
- Make sure the new Galaxy S26 is unlocked. Samsung requires an unlocked new device for this transfer flow.
- On the new phone, open Settings > Connections > SIM manager > Add eSIM > Transfer SIM from Galaxy/Android phone.
- Confirm the transfer on the old phone. Enter the six-digit verification code shown on the new phone, select the number to transfer, and approve the transfer on both devices.
If eSIM setup is unavailable or fails
- You cannot find “Add eSIM” or a setup option: Check with your carrier whether eSIM is supported for your country, exact phone model, and plan.
- A QR code or activation code does not work: Confirm with the carrier that the code and plan are valid for this device and that the carrier has provisioned the eSIM. Samsung’s setup instructions are available on its UK eSIM support page.
- You want to transfer a number: Use the transfer route only if the carrier and devices support it; otherwise ask the carrier which activation method to use.
Samsung’s carrier examples and instructions are regional, not a promise that a listed carrier supports every S26 variant or plan. For current eligibility, your carrier is the authority on its service and provisioning.
