Does the Mega Dimension package version contain a game card?
No. Nintendo Singapore’s March 16, 2026 notice says the retail “Mega Dimension DLC Package Version” contains a download code and does not include a game card. It is a boxed way to obtain the add-on, not a physical copy of the base game. You must separately own Pokémon Legends: Z-A or Pokémon Legends: Z-A – Nintendo Switch 2 Edition to use it.
What does the DLC add, and when can you play it?
Nintendo describes Mega Dimension as downloadable content that includes Holo-X and Holo-Y apparel items and additional story content. The story content is playable after you complete the main story. Nintendo’s support page also explains how to download or access the DLC if it does not appear in game.
