It includes a gaming lounge chair, not a YXSTABY desk. IKEA also lists a separate thumbstick stool, along with screen stands, storage and gaming accessories. A desk shown in a staged room should not be mistaken for a product in the YXSTABY collection.
What seating does YXSTABY include?
IKEA describes YXSTABY as a nine-piece collection developed with Xbox. Its seating options are distinct products:

- Gaming lounge chair: IKEA’s design story describes a repositionable lounge chair with a pocket for a controller. In the US, IKEA identifies it as the “YXSTABY gaming lounge chair, Vissle beige.” See IKEA’s US product listing.
- Thumbstick stool: This is another seating item, not a desk chair. IKEA designer David Wahl says it was designed to tilt like a thumbstick while retaining a suitable seating curve and stability. Read IKEA’s design story.
Does the collection include a desk?
No desk is identified in IKEA’s reviewed YXSTABY collection listings. IKEA’s launch announcement and design story, as well as its UK collection page, describe the chair and other gaming products but do not list a YXSTABY desk. A separate desk visible in a room setting does not establish that it belongs to the collection.

What else is in the collection?
IKEA’s design story names the lounge chair, thumbstick stool, TV stand on castors, side table, monitor stand, laptop support with storage, controller display box, cushion and platter. These products help organize a gaming setup, but their inclusion does not make a desk part of YXSTABY. See IKEA’s UK YXSTABY collection listings.

Local product names, assortment and stock can differ, so check your country’s IKEA site or store for current details. IKEA’s announcement also says gaming is part of everyday life for more than 3 billion people; that figure is IKEA’s, and the announcement does not identify its underlying study.
