The available Currys listings do not verify that a code makes a Kindle reader cheaper than the same Kindle on Amazon. They show discounts on cases when purchased with specific readers: £15 off a case with the 2024 Kindle and £25 off a Paperwhite case. Those accessory offers are not discounts on the e-reader itself.
What the Currys codes actually discount
Currys’ listing for the Amazon Kindle 2024, a 6-inch, 16 GB e-reader, displays code SAVE15KINDLE. The code takes £15 off a Kindle case when you buy the case with that reader. Currys says to add both products to your basket and enter the code at checkout; the offer cannot be combined with other offers. See the Currys Kindle listing.

Why this does not establish that Currys beats Amazon
A case discount can lower the cost of buying a reader and case together, but it does not show that the reader alone costs less at Currys. The available listings do not provide paired Currys and Amazon prices for the same model, nor do they establish the date or terms of a historical promotion described as making the Kindle cheaper than Amazon. The headline’s device-price comparison therefore remains unverified.

To make a fair comparison, check both retailers at the same time and match the exact Kindle model and generation, storage capacity, and ad configuration, along with what is included in the purchase. Compare reader-only prices with reader-only prices; if you want a case, compare the full bundle and apply any eligible code. Include delivery or collection charges in the final checkout total.
How to check whether a code saves you money
- Open the relevant Currys product listing and confirm the code, eligible reader and case, and current offer terms.
- Add both eligible items to the basket, then enter the code at checkout as instructed. Check that the case discount appears before placing the order.
- Check the same reader configuration at Amazon at that time. Compare the final totals for the same items, including any delivery or collection charges.
- Decide whether the bundle is worthwhile for your purchase. A case saving matters only if you want the eligible case; do not count it as a discount on the reader itself.
Promotions can change or expire, so confirm that the code is still accepted and review its terms at checkout. Currys’ Kindle listing says its offer cannot be combined with other offers.
