Which chip is faster?
The available AnTuTu results favor the Dimensity 6400 Max phone, but they are not a controlled chip-to-chip comparison. 91mobiles reports 448,625 for a tested Dimensity 6400 Max phone and 184,721 on its Snapdragon 665 device page. Benchmarks measure a particular phone running a particular software build under particular thermal and test conditions, not a chip in isolation. The supplied AnTuTu device results point in one direction, while the listed Geekbench results cannot be directly reconciled without version and test-context details. The safer conclusion is that the published specifications establish a newer platform and a connectivity upgrade; they do not provide a controlled universal speed ratio.

5G and LTE: the clearest practical difference
MediaTek lists a Release 16 5G modem on the Dimensity 6400 platform, with peak downlink capability up to 3.3 Gbps. That is a manufacturer-stated platform maximum, not a forecast of real-world download speeds, which depend on the network and conditions. Qualcomm specifies the Snapdragon 665’s X12 LTE modem with maximum download speeds up to 600 Mbps. What the specifications do—and do not—tell you
MediaTek lists LPDDR4x memory and UFS 2.2 storage support for the Dimensity 6400 platform. Those are platform-level details, not separately verified Max-specific specifications in the cited material. No corresponding memory or storage comparison is established here for Snapdragon 665, so they should not be used to infer a universal device advantage.
The Dimensity 6400 Max appears in realme’s official specifications for the realme 15T 5G. That confirms a real phone example, but a processor comparison alone does not determine whether that phone is the better purchase. Price, display, battery, software support, and regional model configuration also matter.
