How should you progress the build?
The guide’s broad talent direction is to invest early in Dodge Chance and attack speed, then add Mirror Steps, Zephyr’s Flow, Fundamentals, and Gathered Force. Its precise level-by-level allocations are patch-sensitive; check the current client before committing points to a detailed sequence. As you level, move from the early skill choices in the table toward the listed midgame and later options, changing specials when an encounter calls for a different answer.
For drops, the guide recommends assessing Rare and Epic items by how well they reinforce the attack-and-dodge loop rather than waiting for a complete legendary setup. Compare an item with what is actually limiting your character: damage output or survival.

What gear stats should you look for?
The following are the community guide’s suggested slot priorities, not independently tested best-in-slot findings. Favor the stats that address your current bottleneck while supporting the build’s proposed loop. See the guide’s gearing recommendations.
- Weapon: flat weapon damage, physical damage percentage, basic attack damage percentage, critical strike damage, and attack speed.
- Helmet and chest: Dodge Chance, with cooldown reduction, health, armor, physical damage reduction, or magic resistance among the listed options by slot.
- Gloves and jewelry: critical chance, critical damage, attack speed, physical damage, Dexterity, or Dodge Chance, depending on the slot.
- Boots: movement speed, Dodge Chance, health, or resistance.
Dodge is not a substitute for every defensive stat. The build guide specifically warns about ground poison, lingering area effects, and other unavoidable damage. Keep enough health and resistance for those threats, retain movement, and choose skills with the encounter in mind.

Is Hundred Hands the best Monk build?
There is not enough evidence here to call it the universal best. Hundred Hands is a dated community proposal, updated October 2, 2026—not a developer-confirmed build or a demonstrated optimal choice for every player and encounter. A beta-era checklist last reviewed August 27, before release, said exact skills and build paths had not yet been confirmed on that wiki. It is older than the post-launch guide and should not be treated as the current recommendation, but the newer guide still does not establish a universal best. See the older beta checklist.
