To sign in to CVS, open the official CVS sign-in page, enter the mobile number or email address associated with your account, and select Continue. On a phone, you can sign in through CVS.com or m.cvs.com in a browser, or use the CVS Pharmacy app.
How to sign in to your CVS account
- Go to CVS.com sign in.
- Enter the mobile number or email address linked to your account. CVS’s sign-in page also checks whether you already have an account or ExtraCare membership.
- Select Continue and follow the prompts on screen.
The sign-in page also offers Keep me signed in. Use it only on a device you control; avoid selecting it on a shared or public device.

How to sign in on a phone
Choose whichever official option suits you:
- Mobile browser: Visit CVS.com or m.cvs.com and sign in with the mobile number or email associated with your account.
- CVS Pharmacy app: Open the app and choose the option to sign in to an existing account. CVS also allows users to create an account in the app.
If you cannot sign in through a phone browser, CVS advises enabling cookies in that browser’s settings and trying again. Menu names for cookie settings vary by browser and device.

How to reset a forgotten CVS password
- Open CVS’s Forgot Password page.
- Enter the email address associated with the account. CVS identifies this email as your User ID.
- Check your inbox for the password-reset email and follow its link.
- Answer the security question associated with the account. CVS says the answer must match what was saved when the account was created, including spaces and capitalization.
- Create and confirm a new password, following the requirements shown on the current CVS screen. CVS says the previous password becomes invalid after the reset.
If the reset email does not arrive
Wait a few minutes, then check your junk or spam folder before requesting another reset email. If it still does not appear, contact CVS Customer Care using the details below.

Which password rules should you follow?
CVS help pages give conflicting password requirements. Its Sign In and Account FAQs describe passwords of 8–64 characters, with at least one letter and one number, and say passwords cannot be the username, easily guessed words such as “password,” or any of the last eight passwords. Older CVS account-help pages instead describe a seven-character minimum and list additional character guidance.
Because the official guidance is inconsistent, do not rely on the older rule as definitive. When creating a replacement password, follow the requirements displayed by CVS during the reset.

What to do if you still cannot access your account
For CVS.com and mobile account or password problems, contact CVS Customer Care at 1-888-607-4CVS (1-888-607-4287). CVS lists support hours as Monday–Friday, 8:30 a.m.–7 p.m. ET, and Saturday–Sunday, 10 a.m.–6:30 p.m. ET; it is closed on major holidays. Hours can change, so check the contact page before calling.
What you can access after signing in
CVS account tools include updating personal information, managing shipping and billing details, changing password or email settings, adding Prescription Management, and linking an ExtraCare card. In the CVS Pharmacy app, users can access prescription refills and history, and view ExtraCare savings and rewards. Prescription tools may require separate enrollment in Prescription Management.

Changed your email address?
You do not need to create a second account just because your email changed. Update the address in your account details, then use the new email to sign in. CVS says your password, order history, and account information remain with the account.
