Terminal Template Studio is presented as a browser-based tool for creating terminal color themes and exporting them to supported terminal emulators. Its creator, Baudouin, says it can export to 23 terminals, but the announcement does not name them or verify which platforms are covered.
What Terminal Template Studio does
Baudouin introduced Terminal Template Studio (TTS) as a way to build a terminal theme and export it for use in a terminal emulator. The announcement links to a web app at terminal-theme-studio.pages.dev. That link identifies the app, but the announcement does not establish whether it is currently available.

The project grew out of the creator’s dissatisfaction with the terminal themes already available. It is a creation and export tool, not a catalog or comparison of existing themes, based on the description in the DEV Community announcement.

Baudouin claims TTS can export themes for 23 terminals and mentions Linux and Mac, with Windows support phrased less definitively. The announcement does not list the terminal emulators, map them to operating systems, or provide a compatibility matrix. So the number is the creator’s claim, not an independently verified compatibility count.

Before building a theme for daily use, check whether your specific emulator is among the export targets and confirm that the generated format works with the version you run. The announcement does not document export formats or version requirements.
How to check whether it fits your setup
- Open the app link. Visit the Terminal Template Studio web app. The announcement provides no uptime guarantee, so the link may not reflect current availability.
- Look for your terminal emulator in the export options. The announcement does not name the 23 claimed targets, so support must be checked in the app itself.
- Confirm the export format and apply it using your emulator’s own instructions. No format, installation procedure, or compatibility guidance is given in the announcement.
What remains unclear
- Pricing and license: The announcement does not say whether the app is free, paid, or open source.
- Maintenance: It provides no maintenance schedule or update history.
- Privacy: It does not explain what data, if any, the browser app collects or stores.
- Platform details: It does not establish exact Windows support or identify which Linux and Mac terminal emulators are included.
If your preferred emulator is missing, Baudouin invited readers to request additional support in the comments on the announcement post. That invitation is not a promise that a specific export target will be added.
