If you control the webpage, add a print-only CSS rule that starts each section on a new page, then use your browser’s print dialog to save the page as a PDF. If you cannot edit the site, you can still print it to PDF, but the print dialog alone cannot reliably insert breaks at that site’s section boundaries.
Make each section start on a new PDF page
Add a print rule to the page’s stylesheet. The example assumes the content uses actual <section> elements:

}break-before: page forces a page break before the section’s generated box. The first-section override lets the first section begin on the opening page rather than creating a blank page before it. Change the selector if your page uses another element or a class, such as .chapter.

Check that your selector matches the content
The rule applies only to elements matched by the selector, and a break property is ignored when the element does not generate a box. If the breaks do not appear, inspect the page’s HTML and confirm that the target sections use the element or class you selected.
Choose the right break direction
Use break-before: page when each section should begin on a new page. If you instead need a break after each section, use break-after: page. Avoid applying both indiscriminately: a break after one section followed by a break before the next can create an unintended blank page.

Set page size and margins for printing
You can use @page to configure printed page dimensions, orientation and margins. For example, this requests A4 portrait pages with half-inch margins:

}Adjust the size and margins to suit the intended document. Page size, margins and content length affect where the browser paginates the material; a forced break starts a section on a fresh page, but it does not make that section fit on a single sheet.

Save the page as a PDF
- Open the page in a browser after the print CSS is in place.
- Open the browser’s print dialog or print preview. Review the whole document, including later sections, rather than checking only the first page.
- Choose the browser’s save-to-PDF destination and set the desired paper size, orientation and margins if those controls are available.
- Save and inspect the PDF. Check that section starts, headings, images and page edges appear as intended; revise the CSS or print settings and export again if needed.
If you cannot edit the webpage
The browser’s print dialog can save a third-party webpage as a PDF, but it cannot generally identify every site’s semantic sections and insert a break before each one. Forced breaks at section boundaries require control over the page’s print styles, or another tool that can apply print CSS. Without that control, use print preview to check the browser’s natural pagination and adjust the available print settings.

page-break-before is a deprecated legacy alias; for new stylesheets, use break-before. Its legacy value always maps to break-before: page.

Preview the output in the browser you plan to use. Paged-media features and their details can vary across browsers and versions, so do not assume a PDF exported in one browser will paginate identically in another.
