Do these 3 things before closing this tab:
1Clear out junk files and repair common Windows errors2Fix the driver behind crashes, sound loss and screen glitches3Repair Windows errors before they cause bigger problemsThe CMF Phone 2 Pro looks stronger on listed rear-camera versatility and chipset, while the Lava Virat Curve 5G is listed with a larger battery. India price snapshots put CMF at ₹18,999 and Lava between ₹20,999 and ₹23,999, but these are not confirmed live checkout prices—and one comparison marks both phones out of stock. Your better choice depends on the deal available and which specifications matter most.
Price difference: what the India listings show
Published comparison pages do not agree on the Lava price, so treat the figures as source-specific snapshots rather than a current offer. 91mobiles lists the CMF Phone 2 Pro at ₹18,999 and Lava Virat Curve 5G at ₹23,999, and marks both models out of stock on its comparison page. Cashify’s comparison, updated 25 September 2026, lists CMF at ₹18,999 and Lava at ₹20,999. Neither source establishes a guaranteed price or availability at checkout.

Where the CMF Phone 2 Pro has the clearer advantage
More listed rear-camera options
The comparison lists a main camera, ultrawide and telephoto on CMF, versus one 50 MP rear camera on Lava. Those additional focal lengths can make it easier to frame wide scenes or distant subjects without relying only on a digital crop. Camera count and megapixels do not establish which phone takes better photographs; the available specifications do not provide a controlled image-quality comparison.
A higher-clocked named chipset
91mobiles lists the CMF’s Dimensity 7300 Pro at up to 2.5 GHz and Lava’s Dimensity 7100 at up to 2.4 GHz. Nothing describes CMF’s processor as an eight-core CPU with speeds up to 2.5 GHz, but that is manufacturer copy, not an independent benchmark. Clock speed and model names alone cannot predict everyday performance, gaming frame rates or heat under load.
Where the Lava Virat Curve 5G may suit you better
Larger listed battery
Lava is listed with a 6,000 mAh battery, compared with 5,000 mAh for CMF. That is a capacity advantage on paper, not proof of longer runtime: screen, network conditions, software and workload also affect how often a phone needs charging.

Charging specification needs verification
The published Lava charging figures conflict: 91mobiles lists 45 W, while Cashify lists 33 W. Without an official Lava specification to resolve that discrepancy, do not choose Lava on the assumption that it charges faster. CMF’s official India product page lists 33 W charging.
Display, software support and other checks
Do not assume Lava’s panel type
Both models are listed at 120 Hz, with CMF’s display measuring 6.77 inches and Lava’s 6.67 inches. Nothing India identifies CMF’s screen as AMOLED. For Lava, 91mobiles says AMOLED, but Cashify’s detailed specification says IPS LCD; the panel technology remains unconfirmed by the sources available here.
Check the update commitment before buying
91mobiles lists Android 15 and three years of OS updates plus six years of security updates for CMF. It lists Android 16 and two years of OS updates plus three years of security updates for Lava. These Lava support durations are secondary-source claims, so confirm them with the seller or manufacturer if software longevity is important to you. Update-period details can affect how long a phone remains suitable for someone who keeps a device for several years.

Both are listed for 5G and dual SIM
Both comparison entries list 5G connectivity and dual SIM support. Check the exact India variant and carrier compatibility for your needs, since the comparison does not establish band support or performance on any specific network.

Which one should you buy?
- Choose CMF if you value a listed ultrawide and telephoto alongside the main rear camera, prefer its named chipset on paper, or find its lower listed price reflected in a current in-stock offer.
- Consider Lava if the larger stated battery is your priority and you can confirm its current price, panel type, charging specification and software-support terms before purchase.
- Pause and verify before ordering either phone if the listing does not clearly state stock and the exact variant. The available price comparisons are inconsistent for Lava and do not guarantee current availability.
For the listed hardware, CMF is the more straightforward pick for camera flexibility and chipset specifications; Lava’s clearest listed counterpoint is its larger battery. The price snapshots favor CMF, but the decision should be based on live stock and the final price for the variant you intend to buy.
