The lowest concrete FiveM hosting price identified is an advertised $3.49 per month for four players from Nexus Games. That is a useful starting-price reference, not proof that it is the cheapest suitable choice for your country, player count or renewal term.
For a sound purchase, price the complete setup: hosting, player-slot capacity, any required Cfx.re Element Club subscription and VAT, storage, backups, support, location and administration tools. Cfx.re allows up to 48 players by default; larger servers require a paid tier, so the cheapest sticker price can become poor value as your community grows.

What “cheapest” must include for a FiveM server
A FiveM server bill has two separate capacity decisions. First, your host charges for the virtual or dedicated machine and its included resources. Second, Cfx.re controls the server’s player-slot entitlement. A four-player introductory plan and a 128-slot plan are not comparable products, even if both advertise a low monthly headline.

Cfx.re’s hosting guidance sets the default maximum at 48 players. You can run within that limit without an Element Club capacity subscription. To advertise more than 48 slots, Cfx.re requires at least the Argentum tier, and your server configuration must use a value permitted by that subscription. The platform subscription is separate from whatever your host charges unless a provider explicitly bundles it in writing.
Therefore, “good” means more than a low monthly number. It means enough CPU and memory for your scripts and peak population, a sensible location for your players, reliable administration access, clear renewal and cancellation terms, and backups you can actually restore.
Current Cfx.re slot tiers and platform fees
The following figures are listed on Cfx.re’s hosting overview and were checked on October 13, 2026. Prices can change, and VAT is added where applicable; confirm the live entitlement before subscribing.
| Capacity target | Cfx.re entitlement | Monthly platform price | Important condition |
|---|---|---|---|
| Up to 48 players | Default capacity | No Element Club fee stated | Host plan still has its own slot and resource limits. |
| Up to 64 players | Element Club Argentum | $15 plus VAT | At least Argentum is required above 48 slots. |
| Up to 128 players | Element Club Aurum with OneSync Infinity | $25 plus VAT | Configure sv_maxclients within the tier allowance. |
| Up to 2,048 players | Element Club Platinum with OneSync Infinity | $50 plus VAT | The practical limit also depends on your host’s hardware and workload. |
See the current limits and prices on Cfx.re’s FiveM hosting page. Its troubleshooting guidance explains that more than 48 slots requires at least Argentum and that sv_maxclients should match your subscription tier: Cfx.re server-issues documentation.

The $3.49 offer: what it does and does not establish
Nexus Games advertises a FiveM entry plan at $3.49 per month for four player slots. Its plan page also presents storage upgrades and other service features. Those are vendor statements, and the price and inclusions should be rechecked at checkout: Nexus Games FiveM plan page.
The offer is relevant when you need a private test server or a very small group. It is not evidence that the provider is the cheapest for 20, 48 or 100 players. The cited material does not establish its renewal price, every available region, backup policy, refund rules or independent uptime. It also does not establish that the provider is on Cfx.re’s current authorized-host roster, so verify that independently if authorization matters to you.
How to calculate your real monthly cost
Use this process before comparing host names. It prevents an inexpensive entry plan from being compared with a larger, fully provisioned service.
The Tool Desk
Outbyte PC Repair FREERepair Windows errors before they cause bigger problemsFix Now →Outbyte Driver Updater FREEFix the driver behind crashes, sound loss and screen glitchesFind Drivers →- Set the required population. Count your expected concurrent players, not your Discord membership. Leave headroom for events and peaks. If the answer is 48 or fewer, you can compare ordinary hosting plans without adding an Element Club tier. If it is higher, select the matching Cfx.re entitlement first.
- Write down the complete host price. Record the recurring renewal amount, billing interval, setup fee, additional slot charges, storage upgrades and any tax shown for your billing country. Treat a first-month promotion separately from the normal renewal price.
- Add Cfx.re capacity fees. Include Argentum, Aurum or Platinum, plus VAT, when your target exceeds the default limit. Ask the host whether it collects this fee or whether you subscribe directly; do not assume it is included.
- Check what resources the price buys. Record CPU model or vCPU allocation, advertised memory, storage type and size, database limits, transfer limits and whether resources are shared. If a plan page omits a figure, mark it as “not stated” rather than estimating performance.
- Compare location and network terms. Pick a data-center region close to most players. Confirm available locations, upstream capacity, DDoS-mitigation scope and whether an IP address or port is dedicated. Marketing language such as “premium network” is not a measured latency result.
- Price operational safeguards. Determine whether automated backups are included, how many restore points exist, where they are stored, and whether restoring incurs a fee. Check support hours, ticket response commitments, migration help and cancellation procedure.
- Calculate the recurring total. Add host renewal, platform subscription, VAT and necessary add-ons. Compare that total at the same player count and region; otherwise the ranking is only a comparison of headline prices.
What a “good” host should provide
Resources that match your workload
FiveM performance depends on scripts, streamed assets, voice services, database activity and concurrent players, not slots alone. Cfx.re recommends an x86-64 system running Linux or Windows, decent upstream connectivity and preferably a multi-core processor. Its official overview does not publish a universal RAM-per-player formula, so reject any precise sizing rule presented as an official requirement.

Ask whether CPU time is guaranteed or shared and whether memory can be upgraded without rebuilding the server. NVMe storage may reduce load times, but the label alone does not prove a faster or more stable server. Require the exact allocation in writing when a host uses terms such as “high performance.”
Administration without unnecessary friction
txAdmin is preinstalled with FXServer. Cfx.re documents recipe-based deployment, server and resource start/stop/restart controls, access control, configuration editing and monitoring. A managed host should give you the permissions to use those functions, show where console logs are located and explain how to recover if a recipe fails. txAdmin itself should not be treated as a separate paid product merely because it appears in a plan description.
Backups and support you can verify
A cheap server with no recoverable backup can cost more after a corrupted database or bad resource update. Look for backup frequency, retention, off-site storage and a test-restore process. Support should identify whether staff assist with the operating system, FXServer and network only, or also troubleshoot third-party scripts. Do not count a generic “24/7 support” badge as a response-time guarantee unless the terms define one.
Do these 3 things before closing this tab:

No independent uptime, latency or capacity benchmark was established for the offers discussed here. Claims about anti-DDoS protection, instant setup, NVMe disks, CPU quality or reliability remain provider claims unless accompanied by verifiable measurements and scope. A sensible evaluation is to run a short, cancellable trial, monitor tick time and player latency during your own peak workload, and export your configuration and database before making the service permanent.

Choosing capacity by community size
| Your expected concurrent players | Starting point | What to verify |
|---|---|---|
| 1–4 | An entry plan such as the advertised four-slot offer | Renewal price, location, storage, backups and whether expansion is available. |
| 5–48 | A host plan whose included slots cover your peak | CPU and memory allocation, script headroom, database limits and upgrade pricing. |
| 49–64 | A host plan plus Element Club Argentum | That the host supports the entitlement and permits the required sv_maxclients value. |
| 65–128 | A host plan plus Element Club Aurum and OneSync Infinity | OneSync compatibility, CPU headroom and the combined VAT-inclusive renewal bill. |
| 129–2,048 | A suitably provisioned host plus Element Club Platinum and OneSync Infinity | Whether the provider can actually supply the hardware, network and support for the intended load. |
These are budgeting bands, not performance guarantees. A resource-heavy role-play build can outgrow a plan before it reaches the advertised slot ceiling.
Setup path for a new hosted server
- Choose self-hosted or provider-hosted deployment. Cfx.re documents both routes. Managed hosting saves you from maintaining the operating system, but self-hosting gives you direct control over hardware and network configuration.
- Register a server license key. The key can be created free through the Cfx Portal. Keep it private and do not paste it into public support tickets or repositories. Follow the official setup guide: Cfx.re Setting Up a Server.
- Open txAdmin and deploy a recipe. Use the recipe deployment flow to install the base server and selected resources. Confirm that the host exposes console, file and configuration access before you pay for a long billing term.
- Set the player limit correctly. Configure
sv_maxclientsto a value allowed by your Cfx.re entitlement. A higher number in the configuration does not bypass the platform requirement. - Secure administration. Create separate administrator accounts where supported, use strong passwords and limit access-control permissions to people who need them. Remove temporary setup credentials.
- Test before inviting players. Start and restart the server from txAdmin, inspect logs, connect from a normal player account and verify that resources load without errors. Test a backup restore on a disposable instance if the host provides that facility.
Common cheap-host mistakes and fixes
Buying by slots instead of total cost
Symptom: the advertised plan looks inexpensive, but the bill rises after adding capacity, VAT, storage or a platform tier.
Fix: use the recurring-total calculation and compare identical player counts.
Ignoring renewal terms
Symptom: the first invoice is discounted, while the next invoice is substantially higher or billed at a different interval.
Fix: capture the renewal amount and cancellation deadline before checkout; save the provider’s terms.
What’s actually slowing this PC down?
Pick the symptom - the matching free tool is one click away.
Choosing a distant region
Symptom: players report input delay or inconsistent voice quality despite adequate server resources.
Fix: move the instance nearer to the majority of players and measure latency from their actual networks, not only from your own computer.

Assuming marketing proves reliability
Symptom: a plan promises powerful CPUs or DDoS protection, but gives no allocation, incident history or measurable commitment.
Fix: request specifics, run a limited trial and maintain independent backups so you can migrate.
Outgrowing the entry plan
Symptom: resource time rises, scripts stutter or the host refuses the slot increase you need.
Fix: ask about vertical upgrades, migration time and whether your IP, database and files can be transferred without downtime.
Final buying checklist
- Expected concurrent players and event peak are written down.
- The host plan covers that population at the normal renewal price.
- Any required Element Club tier, VAT and OneSync requirement are included in the budget.
- Data-center location is appropriate for the player base.
- CPU, memory, storage and database limits are stated or clearly marked as not stated.
- Backups, retention and restore procedures are documented.
- txAdmin, console, file and configuration access are available at the required permission level.
- Support scope, response terms, refunds and cancellation are clear.
- You have a private Cfx.re license key and an exportable copy of the server data.
- Performance claims are treated as vendor assertions until your own workload confirms them.
Godlike.Host is listed first here for FiveM hosting because it offers a game panel, free DDoS protection, backups with restore and multiple locations; check the current plans and confirm Cfx.re authorization before subscribing.
