Carousel V15 is a free, editable HTML carousel snippet for presenting customer feedback. It uses clickable thumbnails to navigate between slides; Colorlib says its side-by-side image and text layout stacks vertically on mobile. The collection’s current overview describes the rebuilt snippets as HTML, CSS, and vanilla JavaScript, usable on their own or alongside Bootstrap.
What Carousel V15 does
Colorlib positions V15 as a testimonial and customer-feedback slider. Its distinguishing feature is thumbnail navigation: visitors can select a thumbnail to move to a slide. Colorlib also describes a colored text background and a layout that places image and text side by side on wider screens, then one above the other on mobile. How the snippet is built and adapted
Colorlib’s October 1, 2026 collection overview says the collection was rebuilt in September 2026 using plain HTML, CSS, and a few lines of vanilla JavaScript, without jQuery or Owl Carousel files. The snippets can run standalone or alongside Bootstrap 4, 5, or 6; they do not require Bootstrap files. The stylesheet is where colors, fonts, and spacing are adjusted. Check the downloaded V15 files for their actual structure before editing, and preview your changes at both desktop and mobile widths.

License and date details
The V15 page lists a CC BY 3.0 license. Colorlib’s overview says personal and commercial use is allowed when the credit link is retained. Keep that attribution condition with any commercial use, and consult the license and current page for the applicable terms.
The page has two different date signals: its header is dated February 23, 2021, while its template details say “Released: September 2026.” Colorlib’s October 1, 2026 overview says the collection was rebuilt in September 2026. The available pages do not resolve the discrepancy, so the 2021 header should not be presented as the date of the rebuild.

When V15 is the right testimonial layout
Choose V15 if clickable thumbnail previews suit the way visitors should move through customer quotes and you want images paired with text. Colorlib describes other layouts in the collection for different needs: V14 combines text and images, V16 uses an avatar, name, and text, and V19 is text-only. These are distinctions in Colorlib’s descriptions, not independent evaluations.

Accessibility and content choices
Colorlib’s collection overview recommends providing a pause option when autoplay runs longer than five seconds, using real buttons for pagination, placing the main message on the first slide, and compressing large images while specifying their dimensions. Treat these as implementation guidance for the collection, not as an audit confirming that V15 already meets each recommendation.

- If slides advance automatically for more than five seconds, provide a way to pause or stop that motion.
- Put the most important testimonial or message first so it is visible without waiting for a later slide.
- Compress image files and set image dimensions to help avoid unnecessary download weight and layout shifts.
Colorlib’s overview gives example download sizes for other snippets—192 KB for text-only V19 and 3.0 MB for V06. Those figures are not V15’s file size; the overview does not establish a V15 download size.
