No. Apple says AirPods Pro are not designed for showering and warns users not to place them under running water. An IP water-resistance rating does not make them waterproof or change that guidance.
Why AirPods Pro should stay out of the shower
Apple’s support guidance says AirPods Pro are not designed for showering and warns: “Don’t place your AirPods under running water, such as a shower or faucet.” The products are intended for non-water sports and exercise, not water exposure. [Apple Support]

Water resistance describes a limited, model-specific level of protection; it is not a promise that a pair will withstand a shower. Apple also says that water resistance is not permanent and can diminish with ordinary wear. It cannot be rechecked or resealed.

AirPods Pro water-resistance ratings by model
Apple lists these ratings under IEC standard 60529. The listed rating depends on both the Pro generation and, for some models, the charging-case version.

What to do if your AirPods Pro get wet
- Wipe them gently. Use a soft, dry, lint-free cloth to remove liquid.
- Let them dry completely. Wait at least two hours before using the AirPods or putting them in the charging case.
- Avoid forced drying. Do not use heat or compressed air.
Apple warns that soaps, shampoos, conditioners, lotions, perfumes, solvents, detergent, acids or acidic foods, insect repellent, sunscreen, oil, and hair dye can affect water seals and acoustic membranes. If a liquid may irritate skin, follow Apple’s separate AirPods Pro cleaning instructions. [Apple Support]

Can a pair survive an accidental shower?
Apple does not give a probability that a particular shower exposure will damage AirPods Pro, and its guidance does not guarantee that an individual pair will survive contact with liquid. The practical advice is the same regardless of model: do not wear them in the shower, and follow Apple’s drying steps if they get wet.
