Yes. Hiding which channels your account subscribes to does not stop you from livestreaming on YouTube. That privacy setting is different from your channel’s own displayed subscriber count, and neither is listed as a general livestream eligibility requirement.
What “private subscriber count” can mean
The phrase can refer to two different things. YouTube’s subscription privacy setting controls whether other people can see the channels your account subscribes to. It does not hide your channel’s own subscriber count, and it does not determine whether you can go live.

To make your subscriptions private, open YouTube’s subscription privacy settings and choose the private option. YouTube says private subscriptions are not visible to other users, and your account will not appear in the Subscribers List of channels you subscribe to.
Crashes, No Sound, or Screen Glitches?
Random freezes, missing sound and display glitches usually trace back to one bad driver. Find and replace yours safely.Free scan · under a minuteWindows Errors? Fix Them Before They Spread

YouTube describes showing the count in shortened form, with display updates made in increments that vary by channel size. The published guidance does not establish a universal creator setting to hide that count completely. These display increments are not livestream eligibility rules.

General requirements for livestreaming
YouTube’s general livestream guidance says your channel must be verified and must not have had livestreaming restrictions in the previous 90 days. Subscriber-count privacy is not among those requirements. See YouTube’s livestream setup guidance.
The available setup method depends on how you want to stream:

Mobile livestreaming has extra subscriber thresholds
For mobile livestreaming, YouTube requires at least 50 subscribers, a verified channel, no livestreaming restrictions in the previous 90 days, and livestreaming turned on. First-time activation can take up to 24 hours. Follow YouTube’s mobile livestream instructions to enable and start a mobile stream.
Do these 3 things before closing this tab:
1Repair Windows errors before they cause bigger problems2Fix the driver behind crashes, sound loss and screen glitches3Clear out junk files and repair common Windows errorsIf your channel has at least 50 but fewer than 1,000 subscribers, YouTube may limit the mobile stream’s audience, and its archive defaults to private. After your channel reaches 1,000 subscribers, it may take several weeks for the audience limitation to be removed. These are mobile-specific limits, not consequences of keeping subscriptions private.

Check these items if you cannot go live
- Confirm that your channel is verified.
- Check whether YouTube has applied a livestreaming restriction within the previous 90 days.
- If you are using mobile, confirm you meet its subscriber threshold and have turned on livestreaming; allow up to 24 hours for first-time activation.
- Choose the correct method—mobile, webcam, or encoder—and check the requirements for that method.
- If you mean the visibility of a particular stream rather than subscription privacy, review YouTube’s video privacy settings. Public, private, and unlisted control access to that video or stream; they do not change livestream eligibility.
Or let it run in the cloud
If your goal is a continuous YouTube stream made from uploaded videos, StreamNeo runs the stream from the cloud: upload your video or build a playlist, add your YouTube stream key, and go live. Your computer does not have to stay on at home. It streams your upload as made, up to 4K 60fps, at one price per slot; it can automatically recover if YouTube drops the stream. The first day is free with no card, and the monthly option is $9.99 per month. StreamNeo streams uploaded videos to YouTube; it does not stream from a camera. Start your free day.
