On iPhone, you can change Apple Music’s Home Screen appearance using iOS’s built-in icon styling, or create a Shortcuts launcher with a custom photo. Neither method changes Apple Music’s underlying app branding; the photo option changes the shortcut icon instead.
What you can change on the iPhone Home Screen
Apple’s iOS 26 guide documents system-wide controls for how app icons appear on the Home Screen. They can change Apple Music’s appearance along with other app icons, but they do not provide a separate custom Apple Music logo.

- Touch and hold an empty area of the Home Screen until the icons jiggle.
- Tap Edit, then Customize.
- Choose an available appearance: larger icons, Dark or Auto, Clear, or Tinted. With Tinted, adjust the color and saturation.
Apple’s iOS 26 Home Screen customization guide describes these as controls for app icons generally. Exact labels and options may differ across iOS versions.
How to use a custom picture as a launcher icon
If you want a specific image rather than a system-wide style, create or edit a shortcut in the Shortcuts app, configure an action available on your device, and add the shortcut to the Home Screen. When adding it, choose a photo from your library for the shortcut’s icon. Apple explains this process in its guide to modifying shortcut colors and icons.

To use the launcher to open Apple Music, check the available actions in Shortcuts on your iPhone and configure the shortcut accordingly. Apple describes shortcuts as sequences of actions that can interact with apps and services, but its custom shortcut guide does not guarantee that a particular Apple Music launch action is available on every device or software version.
How the two options differ

What these changes do not affect
Apple’s cited instructions describe changing Home Screen styling or a shortcut’s icon. They do not document a way to replace Apple Music’s own branding inside the app, in Settings, or in the App Library. Both customization routes are software-based; no physical product is needed.
