The Save Page WE Chrome Web Store listing describes it as a way to “Save a complete web page (as curently displayed) as a single HTML file that can be opened in any browser.” The listing describes options for saving selected tabs or a list of URLs, with basic, standard, and custom page items. The Mozilla Add-ons listing says a saved file can embed resources including stylesheets, frame contents, images, fonts, audio, and video. The Chrome Web Store listing and the Firefox Add-ons listing describe general extension behavior, not support for a specific bank.

Why a saved bank page may be incomplete
The Firefox listing explicitly cautions that not all cross-origin frames can be saved. A cross-origin frame is saved only under conditions involving whether its cross-origin ancestor frames can run content scripts; scripts in cross-origin frames are not saved. If a page relies on separately hosted or embedded content, that limitation could matter. The available documentation does not describe the structure of any named Indian bank’s website, so it does not establish that a particular bank’s page will or will not be captured completely.
In practice, treat the result as a copy of content the browser and extension can access at capture time, not as a guaranteed archive of a logged-in banking session, interactive controls, or every embedded component. No bank-specific test or official compatibility statement is documented in the sources cited here.

Should you test it on an internet banking page?
Avoid entering credentials or starting a transaction just to test page capture. If you want to understand how the extension works, try a publicly accessible, non-sensitive page instead. Do not treat a successful capture of a public page as proof that a logged-in account page will be saved completely.
The Firefox listing says the extension requests permission to download files and read or modify download history, display notifications, access browser tabs, access browser activity during navigation, and access data for all websites. Review those permissions and decide whether they are appropriate for a browser you use for financial accounts. This permission disclosure is not evidence of misconduct by the extension.

Safe browsing and alternatives
Indian Bank’s August 2023 safe-browsing guidance recommends checking webpage security and using a virtual keyboard on public devices. It does not assess Save Page WE or endorse or warn against the extension. For a banking page you need to retain, use any download, statement, or print option provided by your bank when available; a page-save extension is not a substitute for an official account record.
