Not as a documented guarantee. Enhanced IRL’s Cloud OBS guide explains how to loop a playlist and shuffle its order, but it does not promise that shuffle prevents the same video from playing twice consecutively. Also, the documented playlist workflow is for Cloud OBS, not the IRL Pro Android broadcasting app.
What the shuffle setting does—and doesn’t promise
In Enhanced IRL Cloud OBS, Loop Playlist starts the playlist again after its last video. The guide says to enable Shuffle Playlist if you want a different order on each loop. It does not say that shuffle excludes the last-played video from the start of the next order, or otherwise guarantees no adjacent repeats. So you can shuffle a looping playlist, but you should not rely on that setting for a strict “never the same video twice in a row” rule. Enhanced IRL’s guide describes the controls without making that stronger promise.

Set up a looping playlist in Cloud OBS
Enhanced IRL’s documented method uses Cloud OBS, OBS Standard or OBS Pro with remote desktop, uploaded video assets, and a VLC Video source. Menu labels may vary by OBS version, but the guide’s workflow is:

- Upload the video files you want to use as assets in Cloud OBS.
- Open OBS Standard or OBS Pro through remote desktop and add a VLC Video source to your scene.
- Add the uploaded video files—or a directory containing them—to the source’s playlist.
- Enable Loop Playlist to restart playback after the final item.
- Optionally enable Shuffle Playlist to change the order on each loop.
- Start the stream and check that playback continues past the playlist’s final video.
If playback stops at the end, Enhanced IRL’s troubleshooting guidance is to check that Loop Playlist is enabled.

IRL Pro is a different workflow
IRL Pro is the Android broadcasting app. Its official guide covers sending a broadcast: choose RTMP or SRT to match the dashboard, enter the publish URL, set resolution, frame rate, and bitrate, then start broadcasting. That guide does not describe creating or looping a multi-video playlist. For the documented playlist controls, use Cloud OBS rather than assuming the Android app has the same feature.
