How to pay an AWS bill with Paytm
- Sign in to the AWS Console and choose UPI when signing up or paying an invoice.
- When AWS displays the payment QR code, open Paytm and scan it to complete the UPI payment.
- If you want automatic monthly payments, check that UPI AutoPay is offered for your account and that the payment is within AWS’s stated INR 15,000 monthly limit.
AWS’s announcement describes UPI Scan and Pay for signup and invoice payments and identifies Paytm as a compatible scanning app. Availability still depends on the payment flow presented in your account.

- Confirm that the account qualifies for Google Cloud’s UPI payment option and that you pay in INR.
- Make sure the billing account has an Indian billing address and bank account, and that your UPI account is configured and registered.
- Review the available payment methods in the Cloud Billing account. Google documents UPI, but does not specifically promise that Paytm will appear or work for every account.
- Budget for the setup prepayment, which Google describes as typically INR 500–1,000.
Google also warns that Indian banks might decline automatic card charges above INR 15,000 for recurring usage due to RBI regulations. This is a provider warning, not a claim that all such charges fail; it is separate from Google Cloud’s UPI eligibility and prepayment requirements.

Do not confuse cloud bills with OTT or merchant payments
Paytm’s instructions for paying an OTT subscription concern a consumer paying an OTT merchant. Paytm Business’s subscription tools concern a business collecting recurring payments from its own customers. Neither establishes that a cloud provider accepts Paytm for infrastructure billing. Paytm Business says its subscription product is available only to enterprise customers.
Likewise, Google Play payment options relate to app and digital-content purchases, not cloud infrastructure billing. Its payment page says net banking was discontinued for India from October 2025 until further notice, a reminder that payment methods can change by product and date.
