It is not confirmed by Gyre’s public documentation. Gyre describes cloud-based looping and scheduled YouTube broadcasts, but the available guides do not say whether a stream automatically resumes after Gyre performs scheduled maintenance. Before relying on an uninterrupted loop, ask Gyre support whether your broadcast resumes, a new YouTube broadcast starts, or you must take action.
What Gyre documents—and what it does not
Gyre’s product page describes uploading videos to Gyre Storage, arranging them into a playlist, connecting a YouTube account, and running a 24/7 stream. When the playlist reaches its end, it can start again. That is playlist looping; it does not establish recovery after an outage caused by Gyre maintenance. Gyre’s product page

Gyre’s scheduler guide covers planned start and end times. It instructs users to create the stream in YouTube Studio and Gyre without launching it, enable YouTube auto-start and auto-end, make the stream public, and schedule it in Gyre. Those controls describe scheduled broadcasts, not a guarantee that a stream returns after provider maintenance. Gyre’s scheduler guide

Ask Gyre these questions before relying on a loop
- After scheduled maintenance, does Gyre resume the same YouTube broadcast, start a new broadcast, or require me to restart it?
- Does recovery depend on YouTube auto-start or auto-end settings, the scheduled event, or any other setup detail?
- Will the YouTube event remain the same, and is there any expected interruption or viewer-facing change?
- What action, if any, should I take if the stream has not returned after maintenance?
Ask about your specific channel and configuration, and request the current procedure for the service version you use. “The playlist loops” and “the broadcast recovers after maintenance” are separate behaviors; confirmation of the first does not answer the second.
