Yes—one YouTube playlist can collect reruns from different games. But a playlist is an on-demand collection of videos, not a documented way to create one continuous live broadcast that automatically plays or switches between games. If you want viewers to watch a rerun channel live, you need to configure a live stream separately.
What a playlist can—and cannot—do
YouTube defines a playlist as “a collection of videos.” Its playlist guidance does not require the videos to cover the same game, so you can group different games’ replays together at your discretion. YouTube also recommends organizing live-stream archives and highlights into playlists. YouTube Help: Create & manage playlists · YouTube Help: Promote your live stream

That does not make the playlist itself a live source. YouTube’s documented workflow treats playlist management and live broadcasting as separate features: a broadcast is created and configured through a live-streaming method such as an encoder, console, mobile device, or webcam. The guidance reviewed does not describe a playlist as a continuous broadcast that plays its entries in sequence. Manage live stream settings · Get started with live streaming

| What you want | How it works | Viewer experience |
|---|---|---|
| One playlist of reruns from several games | Publish or retain each replay as a video, then add the videos to a shared playlist. | Viewers choose and watch videos on demand. |
| One live channel that moves among several games | Create and configure a live broadcast separately, using a live source and the applicable YouTube settings. The reviewed YouTube guidance does not establish a playlist as that source. | Viewers watch a broadcast in real time, with live-stream features such as chat where available. |
The distinction matters for management, too. A shared archive playlist is a straightforward way to collect reruns while keeping each broadcast’s video separate. A continuous live channel requires a live source and stream configuration; do not assume that putting videos in a YouTube playlist will make them broadcast automatically.

Build a multi-game rerun playlist
- Publish or retain the replay. YouTube says that after a live stream ends, a channel may post a replay or highlights as videos. Live-stream archives are uploaded by default, according to YouTube’s promotion guidance. Learn about live streams · Promote your live stream
- Create a playlist or choose an existing one. Use YouTube’s playlist controls to make a shared rerun collection, then add the relevant videos. The playlist can contain entries for multiple games.
- Label every video for its own game. Make the title, description, and category accurate for each replay. YouTube says gaming videos can appear on game pages and advises checking those fields if a video appears under the wrong topic. A playlist’s broad theme does not replace video-level metadata. Browse gaming content on YouTube
- Keep the playlist’s purpose clear. A name such as “Game reruns” can signal that the collection spans multiple titles; viewers can then use each video’s title to identify the game before opening it.
If you mean one continuous live broadcast
Set up the broadcast in YouTube Studio or Live Control Room rather than treating a playlist as the stream. YouTube’s live-stream settings cover the stream method, metadata, scheduling, and stream key or URL for an encoder. The available setup route depends on whether you broadcast from an encoder, console, mobile device, or webcam. Manage live stream settings · Get started with live streaming
The official guidance cited here does not establish that a YouTube playlist can supply the video for a continuous live broadcast. An external encoder or automation workflow may be a separate possibility, but its behavior depends on the tool and current YouTube requirements; verify both before relying on it. The playlist feature itself should be treated as organization for videos, not as proof of a live playback feature.
