Steam Deck Compatibility is currently marked Unknown, which is neither a pass nor a failure. The specifications below are Steam’s published targets, not measured performance results; check the Steam store page for changes.
What are the minimum system requirements?
Steam lists these minimum requirements for the Windows PC version:

The minimum graphics entry is reproduced as Steam spells it: “GTX 3060.” The listing does not clarify that model name, so it should not be silently changed to another GPU.
What are the recommended system requirements?
Steam’s recommended Windows PC configuration is:
- Operating system: Windows 10 64-bit or newer
- Processor: AMD Ryzen 5 5600X or Intel Core i5-11600K
- Memory: 16 GB RAM
- Graphics: Radeon RX 6700 XT or GeForce RTX 3070
- DirectX: Version 12
- Available storage: 50 GB
- Additional storage note: “15GB SSD PCIe compatible”
The GeForce RTX 3070 is one of the GPUs in the recommended column, but buying or having that graphics card alone does not meet the rest of the system requirements.

What does the storage requirement mean?
The Steam listing gives 50 GB of available storage in both columns, then separately adds “15GB SATA SSD” for minimum and “15GB SSD PCIe compatible” for recommended. It does not explain how those 15 GB notes relate to the 50 GB available-space figure. Treat them as separate, unexplained wording on the listing rather than assuming they describe the install size or a drive-capacity recommendation.
Is Burning Sword: Death Sun Steam Deck compatible?
Steam currently displays Steam Deck Compatibility: Unknown. That means there is no established compatibility rating shown on the store page; it does not certify that the game works, and it does not mean the game has failed review. Steam’s general Deck review criteria include whether a game supports the Deck’s controls and, for Windows games running through Proton, whether it has Proton-specific compatibility issues. Those criteria do not establish this game’s performance.

The store page lists full controller support and says, “The developers recommend playing this game with a controller.” Controller support is useful information, but it does not determine the Deck rating or prove smooth play on the handheld.

Unfortunately, we don’t currently have a Steam Deck to test and verify if the issue has been resolved. However, I’ll have our team look into this as soon as possible.” That response concerned investigating that reported issue at that time; it does not show whether the team tested the game later or establish current general compatibility.

Nomadic Games is listed as the developer and Rising Tide as publisher. Steam describes the single-player game as a wuxia hack-and-slash/action title and currently marks it Coming soon. The requirements are therefore published targets for an unreleased game, not proof of final-release behavior.
Steam provides no measured frame rate, benchmark score, or comparative performance test in the cited listing. Meeting the minimum or recommended parts list is not a performance guarantee, and the published PC requirements cannot be used to infer a Steam Deck frame rate. No game-specific FPS estimate or current hands-on Deck result is established by these sources.
