How to watch local games without a monthly TV package
Try an antenna for local broadcasts
An over-the-air antenna can receive local CBS, FOX, NBC and ABC broadcasts without a monthly service charge when those stations are available and reception is adequate. It is often the lowest recurring-cost option for games shown by your local affiliates, but it will not unlock games assigned to streaming services or Sunday afternoon matchups airing only in another market. When Sunday Ticket is the right choice
If you follow a team whose Sunday afternoon games are outside your local broadcast market, NFL Sunday Ticket is the official route for eligible out-of-market CBS and FOX regular-season games. The NFL says, “To watch games outside your local market, you’ll need NFL Sunday Ticket (available on YouTube TV).” You can get it through YouTube TV or as a standalone YouTube Primetime Channel; compare the package options in YouTube’s Sunday Ticket help page.
Sunday Ticket is not a complete NFL pass. It excludes games broadcast locally, nationally televised games, postseason and preseason games, and select digital-exclusive games. A standalone Sunday Ticket subscription does not itself add locally televised games. You may still need a separate way to watch those other windows.

Can you watch NFL games free?
Some games may be available without a paid streaming subscription if you can receive the local broadcast over the air with an antenna.
