Choose what your scoreboard will track
Decide on the scoring model before asking AI to make a layout. A favourites list records your own ranking; a prediction sheet tracks what you think juries and viewers will award; a points simulation applies a points scale to your rankings. These serve different purposes, so label the sheet accordingly and never present fan scores or predictions as official votes.

- Personal ranking: Rank the songs you like, without trying to reproduce contest voting.
- Watch-party predictions: Record guesses for jury and televote results in separate columns.
- Points simulation: Assign points to your top entries using a defined scale.
The EBU’s Media Handbook describes a points allocation of 1–8, 10 and 12, with ten point-bearing places in the voting set it covers. Those values total 58 points per set. Treat the rules as edition-specific: check the official rules for the contest year you are following before using this as a simulation. A personal party scoreboard can use any scale, as long as everyone understands it.

Use the official event page for the edition you are watching to fill in the countries, artists, songs and running order. Do not ask an AI assistant to invent or guess entries: the relevant list can change by edition, and the sources here do not establish a future year’s participants.

Create a spreadsheet layout for a personal Eurovision watch-party scoreboard. Include columns for running order, country, artist, song, my rank, my points, jury prediction, televote prediction, and combined prediction. Keep my own scores clearly separate from official results. Review the proposed layout before entering data. Make sure “my points” and “combined prediction” are not labelled as actual contest results. If you only want a personal ranking, remove prediction columns; if you want to run a prediction game, retain jury and televote predictions separately before combining them.
Enter scores and check the totals
- Fill in the edition’s official entry details and running order.
- Choose one scoring rule and apply it consistently. For an edition-specific simulation based on the handbook’s scale, award 1–8, 10 and 12 points to the ten entries in each voting set.
- For a prediction game, enter jury and televote guesses in their own columns; use a combined total only for your predicted sum.
- Check that every entry appears once, no act has been omitted or duplicated, and formulas update when values change.
- Sort by the column that matches your game, and decide how ties should be handled before the results are in.
Official results pages present scoreboards and detailed voting results, as shown on Eurovision’s Basel 2025 Grand Final results page for the Netherlands. That can help you distinguish a ranked results table from your own sheet, but it does not make a fan prediction an official tally.

Eurovision’s official app description identifies My Scoreboard as a way to rank and share favourites across contests. Choose it if that is all you need; make a custom sheet when your group wants predictions, distinct score categories or a particular points system.

Give guests access to the sheet or display it during the watch party, and label columns so the source of every number is obvious: your score, a guest’s prediction, or an official result. If you later add actual results, keep them in distinct columns rather than overwriting predictions. That preserves the difference between what your group expected and what the contest reported.
