Browse AI and ParseHub both help people collect website data without writing a scraper, but the available official information does not establish a universal winner. Browse AI’s published materials emphasize AI-assisted setup, monitoring and integrations; ParseHub’s pricing page makes run limits, project privacy and retention especially clear. Test each on the same representative pages and fields before committing.
How Browse AI and ParseHub differ
Browse AI describes a workflow in which you provide a URL, review a proposed data structure and train a robot to extract information. Its documentation also describes a visual point-and-click Robot Studio alongside Table Studio. ParseHub identifies itself as desktop scraping software, but its current feature page provides too little detail to support a complete, evidence-based comparison of its setup workflow against Browse AI. See Browse AI’s product overview and ParseHub’s feature page.
That source difference matters: Browse AI’s capabilities below are vendor-described, not independently verified guarantees for every site. ParseHub’s published plan limits are more concrete than the feature details available for this comparison. Neither source establishes comparative extraction accuracy, uptime or maintenance performance.
Browse AI: setup, interaction and delivery
Browse AI says its robots can extract lists and text, capture screenshots, work with logged-in pages and dynamic content, and handle forms, dropdowns, pagination, infinite scrolling, regional content and workflows across connected pages. It also describes scheduled monitoring and alerts, bulk work across URLs, and delivery through CSV, JSON, AWS S3, Google Sheets, Airtable, APIs, webhooks and third-party integrations such as Zapier and Make. These are stated capabilities; a target site’s behavior and access controls can affect results. See the Browse AI Help Center overview (dated September 1, 2026).

ParseHub: desktop software and published plan terms
ParseHub’s feature page identifies it as desktop scraping software. For choosing a plan, its official pricing page provides the most specific current information: pages per run, project counts, privacy, retention and prices. The available feature description is not detailed enough to substantiate feature-by-feature parity or a claim that it handles any particular interaction better than Browse AI.
Plans, limits and pricing
The table reflects the vendors’ public plan information checked October 3, 2026. Prices and plan details can change; confirm them on the linked vendor pages before subscribing. These are vendor claims, not independent assessments of value or performance.
| Product and plan | Published limits and included details | Published price |
|---|---|---|
| Browse AI Free | 50 credits per month; two root domains. Browse AI says a credit generally scrapes 10 rows on many websites, while premium sites may use up to one credit per row, so throughput depends on the site and task. | Free |
| ParseHub Free | 200 pages per run; five public projects; 14-day data retention. | Free |
| ParseHub Standard | 10,000 pages per run; 20 private projects; standard support; 14-day retention. The pricing page also lists scheduling, IP rotation and saving files to Dropbox or S3. | $189 per month |
| ParseHub Professional | Unlimited pages per run; 120 private projects; priority support; 30-day retention; additional listed features. | $599 per month |
Browse AI’s published free allowance is credit-based rather than a fixed page count. ParseHub’s listed project privacy and retention make it important to distinguish the free plan’s public projects from paid plans’ private projects, and to check whether the stated retention fits your workflow. For either vendor, review current terms and security documentation before uploading sensitive data.
Which one should you try first?
- Try Browse AI first if AI-assisted table setup, scheduled change monitoring, or its documented export and integration options fit your workflow. Verify extraction on your target sites rather than treating the feature descriptions as a success guarantee.
- Evaluate ParseHub against your workload if pages per run, project counts, private projects, retention or its published monthly prices are central to your decision.
- Do not choose by headline plan alone. Browse AI’s credit use varies by site and scrape; ParseHub’s listed run and project limits differ by plan. Estimate your actual volume, privacy needs and delivery requirements first.
There is no independent head-to-head test or benchmark here to justify declaring either scraper the overall winner. A short trial on your real pages is the most useful comparison.

How to run a fair trial
- Choose representative pages. Include the page types, regions, login states and interactions you expect to scrape in regular use.
- Define the fields. Write down the exact data you need and how missing, duplicated or changed values should be handled.
- Build the same small test in each product. Where supported, include relevant pagination, scrolling, forms or other interactions. Do not assume a vendor-described capability will work on every site.
- Check the output manually. Compare extracted values with the pages, including edge cases and records that are easy to miss.
- Test maintenance and delivery. Check how the workflow responds to a changed page layout, how monitoring or scheduling fits your needs, and whether the output reaches your intended destination.
- Estimate monthly cost and operational fit. Use your realistic volume, plan limits, privacy requirements and retention period—not just the free-plan headline.
For screenshot capture rather than structured scraping
If your requirement is to capture pages as images or PDFs rather than extract fields into a dataset, consider ScreenshotNeo as an alternative to try first. It is a website screenshot API and MCP server, not a no-code web scraping substitute: one GET request can return a PNG, JPEG, WebP or PDF. Its published features include accepting cookie or consent banners and removing more than 60 known consent platforms, newsletter popups and chat widgets before capture; each step can be turned off. Bot checks/CAPTCHAs, blank pages, timeouts, failed loads and cache hits are not billed, and responses identify the page verdict and billing status in headers. Its MCP server offers take_screenshot, get_page_info and capture_pdf for AI agents and MCP clients.
For data extraction into rows and fields, assess Browse AI or ParseHub. For rendered-page capture, here is ScreenshotNeo’s one-call example:
curl -G "https://api.screenshotneo.com/v1/shot" -d access_key=YOUR_API_KEY --data-urlencode url=https://stripe.com -o shot.webp
See the ScreenshotNeo API documentation for request options. The Free plan includes 1,000 shots per month with no card; paid plans start at $5 for 3,000 shots. Sign up for ScreenshotNeo’s free plan.
