The black Breville Nespresso Essenza Mini Bundle BEC250BLK pairs a compact Original capsule espresso machine with a separate Aeroccino3 milk frother and a Nespresso capsule tasting box. It makes espresso or lungo; for cappuccinos and lattes, you froth milk in the Aeroccino rather than through an integrated milk system. That setup suits buyers who want those two coffee sizes and a separate frother, but shoppers should verify the exact package and local specifications before buying.
What is included in the BEC250BLK bundle?
Breville’s US bundle page lists an Aeroccino milk frother and a Nespresso capsule tasting box as included accessories. CHOICE’s result for the black BEC250BLK bundle also lists the machine, Aeroccino 3, drip tray, capsules, welcome guide, instruction manual and warranty. Inclusions can differ by country or seller, so check the specific listing and package contents for your region rather than relying on the model name alone. Breville’s US bundle listing and CHOICE’s BEC250BLK result identify the bundle details.

How does the machine make coffee and milk drinks?
Espresso and lungo
The Essenza Mini uses Nespresso Original capsules and has two programmable cup-size buttons: espresso and lungo. Nespresso USA specifies 1.35 oz for espresso and 3.75 oz for lungo on its US product page. Those are the listed preset volumes, not a guarantee that every capsule will taste best at either volume.
Milk drinks use a separate frother
The Aeroccino3 is a standalone, separately operated component, not a milk system built into the machine. Nespresso USA describes it as making hot or cold milk froth for drinks such as cappuccinos and lattes. The workflow is to brew the capsule coffee in the Essenza Mini and prepare the milk separately in the Aeroccino. Nespresso’s Aeroccino3 information describes the frother’s hot- and cold-frothing function.

US specifications, dimensions and capacity
The figures below come from Nespresso USA’s product information retrieved on October 7, 2026; they describe that US listing and should not be assumed to apply to every regional variant.
| Specification | US listing |
|---|---|
| Dimensions | 3.3 × 12.8 × 8 inches |
| Weight | 5 lb |
| Removable water tank | 20.3 oz |
| Used-capsule container | Six capsules |
| Pressure | 19 bar |
| Automatic shutoff | After nine minutes |
| Espresso preset | 1.35 oz |
| Lungo preset | 3.75 oz |
The dimensions suggest a narrow machine footprint, though its listed depth is 12.8 inches, so measure the counter space front to back as well as side to side. The 20.3 oz tank and six-capsule container may mean more frequent refilling or emptying in a household making several drinks; that is an inference from their capacities, not a measured usage result. Nespresso USA’s Essenza Mini listing provides these US specifications.

Which capsules fit the Essenza Mini?
The machine belongs to Nespresso’s Original capsule system. Shop for capsules identified as Nespresso Original-compatible; Vertuo capsules are a different system and should not be assumed to fit. Capsules are an ongoing consumable, so factor their availability and cost in your market into the purchase decision. Breville’s US product page and the BEC250 instruction manual identify the product and capsule system.

BEC250 identifies an Essenza Mini model in the manual, while the reviewed black bundle is identified as BEC250BLK in CHOICE’s result. SKU suffixes, package contents, voltage, warranty and specifications can vary by market and retailer. Match the listing to the black BEC250 bundle and confirm that it explicitly includes the Aeroccino3 and capsules; do not infer that another Essenza Mini listing contains the same accessories.

US price snapshot and value considerations
When retrieved on October 7, 2026, Breville’s US bundle page showed $229.95 and Nespresso USA showed $239.99. These are time-sensitive US listing prices, not guaranteed current prices or offers. Check the live seller listing for price, stock, shipping and warranty terms. The bundle’s practical value depends on whether you want the separate frother and included capsule sampler; buyers who already own a suitable frother may prefer to compare the machine-only option, while shoppers seeking integrated milk handling or more drink-size choices should compare other machines on those criteria.
Who should consider this bundle?
- A reasonable match: Someone who wants espresso and lungo from Original capsules and likes having a separate milk frother included.
- Compare alternatives: If you want milk preparation integrated into one machine, a broader choice of drinks, or larger water and used-capsule capacities, compare those features directly across models.
- Assess ongoing use: Consider Original capsule availability and recurring consumable costs alongside the machine’s initial price.
What this review can and cannot establish
The product pages and model documentation establish the bundle’s described components, operation and listed US specifications. They do not establish independently tested taste, noise, speed, reliability or long-term durability, so this review does not rank the machine on those performance measures. When comparing it with another compact capsule machine, use matched evidence for footprint, drink sizes, milk preparation, capacities, bundle inclusions, capsule system, local price and warranty rather than treating a specification alone as proof of better performance.
