Capacity is not the same as usable dish space: the 23 L figure describes the cavity volume, while the flatbed design changes how dishes sit inside it. Check the actual interior and countertop clearance against your intended dishes and installation spot rather than assuming every large plate will fit.

No turntable, with a manufacturer-specific area comparison
The LMO525 has no rotating glass turntable. Breville says the flatbed is intended to accommodate larger dishes and make cleaning easier. Its product page also claims 5% more usable cooking area than one specific comparator: the LG NeoChef standard 42 L turntable microwave, model MS4296OBS. That percentage is Breville’s comparison with that named model, not a general advantage over all turntable microwaves, and the page does not establish it through independent testing. Diamond Wave technology
Breville describes a distinctive diamond pattern on the rear cavity wall as a way to improve microwave reflection and heat distribution. This is the manufacturer’s design rationale; it is not, by itself, evidence of more even heating in independent tests.
Instant start and Favorite
According to Breville, pressing a numbered button from 1 to 6 starts a one-to-six-minute cycle at 100% power without a separate Start press. The Favorite setting stores a preferred preset. These controls may suit routine reheating, but the feature list does not demonstrate faster cooking or greater accuracy than another microwave. CHOICE’s public listing provides basic model details, including 900 W output and dimensions, but its comparative test scores and usable-volume data are member-only. Buying a discontinued LMO525BSS
Availability and condition can matter more than the original feature list. The official Australian product page marks the model discontinued; that does not establish whether any particular seller has remaining stock or whether parts are still available.
- Confirm whether the unit is new old stock, used or refurbished, and inspect the interior coating, door, controls, power cord and supplied accessories.
- Check that the electrical rating and plug suit the country where you will use it.
- Ask the seller to state the warranty and return terms for that specific unit; do not assume a general warranty page determines coverage for every region or purchase.
