The walkthrough describes achievements that fall into three useful groups: decisions that can be missed during a run, combat or progression goals that can be pursued repeatedly, and story goals that require another playthrough.

Missable decisions and route rewards
- Law Abiding Citizen: At the forest river crossroads, refuse the goblin’s invitation to join the rebellion. The guide says accepting it forfeits this achievement for that run.
- Trickster: Win the desert mirror fight with fewer than five squads. The walkthrough recommends using the Fire Mage alone and countering with Sunder Armor and Ice Shard; this is its tactical advice, not verified current-game testing.
- Chronicler: Before the final boss, take the route to the tower and answer the sage. The walkthrough lists the answers as “A Brave Warrior,” “Healers,” and “Amulet of Rage.”
- Tailwind or Dispel: The walkthrough says the upper and lower forest routes award Tailwind and Dispel respectively. Because the rewards are on mutually exclusive routes, choose based on which spell you need for that run.
Goals to combine in a single run
- Hard difficulty: The walkthrough says completing the game on Hard also satisfies the achievement for finishing without using Easy. If pursuing both, one Hard run is enough according to the guide.
- Flawless Victory: The guide says to win a battle without losing a warrior and suggests trying in an early fight, when it may be easier to protect the whole force.
- To Arms: The walkthrough describes this as winning 100 battles. It also says dungeons can be revisited for battles, experience and gold, providing a route to continue working on battle and progression goals.
Goals that need both endings or more progression
- Director’s Cut: The walkthrough says this requires both endings. After the final boss, the choice is whether to seal Tarik or destroy the book; choose a different ending on a second playthrough. Keeping separate saves for the runs can help preserve each choice.
- Equipped: The guide says to fill all four equipment slots: helmet, staff, robe and belt. It suggests buying gear in shops or earning gold through dungeon battles.
- Spell-learning achievements: The walkthrough describes goals for learning Ice, Nature and Fire spells. It lists three Ice spells, four Nature spells—including the mutually exclusive Tailwind and Dispel route rewards—and three Fire spells. It says dungeon experience can still be earned after the final boss, so spell progression need not be completed before the ending.
How to make an achievement run less risky
- Decide whether you are aiming for both endings. If so, plan two runs from the outset and choose a different final-boss outcome in each.
- Combine the difficulty goals. Choose Hard if you want to pursue both the Hard completion and the no-Easy achievement in the same run, as the walkthrough recommends.
- Protect the one-run decisions. Refuse the goblin’s rebellion invitation, keep fewer than five squads for the desert mirror battle, and visit the sage’s tower before the final boss.
- Choose the forest path deliberately. The upper and lower routes are reported to grant different spells, so account for the mutually exclusive Tailwind and Dispel rewards when planning spell achievements.
- Use repeatable battles for remaining progress. The walkthrough says dungeons can be revisited for battles, experience and gold, including after the final boss.
When an achievement does not unlock
Steam Community discussions include player questions about Hard difficulty and reports of spells not triggering an expected achievement. Those posts show that unlock issues are a concern for some players, but individual reports do not establish a game rule or a confirmed fix. First compare what you did with the achievement’s current in-game description; the historical walkthrough may no longer match the current game or platform state.
