- Start with the spear: test normal attacks and skills at different distances. Record which attacks reach and whether a follow-up connects at close, mid, and longer range.
- Turn on the Training Mode display options that help you inspect hit and combo behavior, if available in your version. Test one follow-up at a time rather than assuming a move can be canceled into another.
- Add Bast’s Blessing after a confirmed normal attack or skill. Try its available dash directions, note the gauge cost, and check whether the opponent remains in range for the next attack.
- Repeat each candidate sequence from the same starting distance. Confirm that the game registers a continuous combo rather than a reset or an opponent’s opportunity to act.
- Save the exact inputs and starting conditions that work. Recheck them after game updates, since the official materials cited here do not establish patch-specific routes.
Using spear reach and mobility together
The spear and Bast’s Blessing address different parts of an approach. The spear gives Shuri a way to threaten opponents from mid-range; the mobility skill can change her position and, when canceled from a normal attack or skill, create opportunities to continue pressure or alter the approach. The practical question is whether a specific hit, at a specific spacing, leaves enough time and distance for a dash follow-up. Confirm that in Training Mode rather than treating every cancel as a guaranteed combo.

Because Bast’s Blessing uses a dedicated gauge, include its cost in your testing. A route that works once may not be immediately repeatable if the gauge has not recovered. The official character description confirms the resource cost, but does not specify recovery behavior or a universal gauge-efficient route.
Inputs, controls, and what the official sources do not establish
PlayStation describes the game broadly as supporting traditional and quick inputs, along with easy chain combos. Those general features do not establish a particular Black Panther sequence, its damage, or whether it works at every spacing. Where to practice
The official FAQ lists the game for PS5 and PC and includes offline Training Mode, Battle Guides, and Character Guides. Online play has separate account requirements: the FAQ says PS5 online gameplay requires internet access and PlayStation Plus, while PC requires internet access and a PlayStation account. You do not need online play to practice in Training Mode.
