REDMAGIC describes these performance modes as general Game Space options. The names and availability may differ on your device.

REDMAGIC says Game Space lets players adjust individual game configurations and access an in-game overlay. How can you make gaming easier on the battery?
Reduce display power when endurance matters
Lower brightness to a comfortable level and set refresh rate to what the game needs rather than automatically choosing the highest available option. REDMAGIC says Eco may cap maximum refresh at 60 Hz. That is a description of Eco mode in its general guidance, not a verified specification for a REDMAGIC 12 Pro+.
Visual enhancements involve another trade-off: REDMAGIC says Enhanced Color Mode uses more battery, while Screen Energy Saving Mode reduces screen power consumption. Choose a performance mode that matches the session
Use Eco when battery conservation is the priority and Balance for ordinary play. Move to Rise or Diablo only if a game benefits from the extra performance; higher-performance modes can bring more heat and power use. The available sources give no controlled measurements for battery hours, temperature, or frame rates on the titled model, so there is no evidence-based percentage or runtime gain to promise.

REDMAGIC recommends managing heat and suggests a smartphone cooler as an option. That supports considering the accessory category, but does not establish that any particular cooler fits a REDMAGIC 12 Pro+.

REDMAGIC also describes Charge Separation, or bypass charging, as powering the device directly from a power source without actively charging the battery. If your device offers this feature, check its own instructions before using it during play. The company’s advice to keep charge above 20% and below 80% is general vendor guidance; it is not a demonstrated guarantee of a specific battery-health improvement on this model. How do you stop notifications interrupting a game without missing important alerts?
REDMAGIC’s Game Space walkthrough describes Anti-Disturbance Mode as a way to change notification and input behavior. If an equivalent option appears on your device, choose the least restrictive behavior that solves the problem:

How should you adjust settings for your priorities?
- For routine play: Begin with Balance and comfortable brightness. Keep notification controls at a level that prevents accidental swipes without hiding alerts you need.
- For a longer session away from a charger: Try Eco, lower brightness, and consider Screen Energy Saving Mode if your software offers it.
- For a demanding game: Increase performance only as needed, then watch for heat. REDMAGIC specifically describes Diablo as a mode that can get hotter and suits short use.
- For fewer interruptions: Try a less intrusive notification presentation before hiding the status bar or making the notification shade harder to reach.
