What is confirmed about the REDMAGIC 12 Pro+ so far?

What are the REDMAGIC 12 Pro+’s charging specifications?
They have not been established in the official material reviewed. There is no verified 12 Pro+-specific battery capacity, wired charging rate, wireless charging support, charging behavior, or in-box charger information. Until launch materials specify these points for the exact model and region, claims about charge time or which charger is included should be treated as unconfirmed.

How long will the REDMAGIC 12 Pro+ receive software updates?
REDMAGIC’s published policy says “REDMAGIC 11 Pro & Newer” receive two generations of Android OS updates and three years of security updates. The policy measures that support period from the model’s initial global launch, not from its China announcement. The REDMAGIC Team states: “All update commitments are calculated from the initial global launch date of the product model.” REDMAGIC Software Update Policy
This is the applicable general policy for newer models, but the material reviewed does not confirm the 12 Pro+’s launch Android or REDMAGIC OS version, a regional rollout calendar, or the date its support period will end. REDMAGIC also says update timing, versions, and frequency may vary by model, carrier, and region; over-the-air updates are delivered in batches. Security patches may arrive monthly, quarterly, or as needed, so the policy is not a promise of identical delivery dates everywhere.

Should you install a global ROM manually?
REDMAGIC’s manual-update guidance is general support information, not a 12 Pro+-specific recommendation to flash software. Manual installation can erase data, and using software for the wrong model can void the warranty. If you are considering this route, follow the manufacturer’s current instructions for the exact device and region rather than assuming a file for another REDMAGIC phone is suitable. - Back up your data before installation; the manual process described by REDMAGIC wipes the phone.
- Use only software designated for the exact model.
- Charge the phone to at least 50% before installing.
REDMAGIC’s guide also cautions that devices bought through third parties may not receive additional support. Its warranty information for official-store purchases should not be assumed to apply identically in every country; check the terms for your seller and jurisdiction.

What can you expect in everyday use?
There is no verified 12 Pro+ hands-on evidence in the material reviewed for everyday battery life, comfort, connectivity, notification reliability, thermals, camera performance, or software polish. Those are open questions, not established strengths or weaknesses. A gaming-phone product name is not a substitute for testing ordinary use.
