There is not enough verified information to recommend specific Into the Radius 2 comfort settings. The official PlayStation Store listing confirms seated and standing play, plus optional headset and controller vibration and trigger effects, but the available official sources do not identify the game’s movement, turning, or vignette options. Start with seated play and short sessions; treat any optional feedback changes as personal experimentation, not a proven nausea remedy.
What settings are confirmed in Into the Radius 2?
The PS5 listing says the game requires PlayStation VR2 and PS VR2 Sense controllers, supports seated and standing play, and offers optional headset vibration, controller vibration, and trigger effects. It does not document locomotion methods, turn styles, vignette or blinders, movement speed, or their default values. PlayStation Store listing

That means there is no evidence-based set of exact in-game values to give here. If you see movement or comfort controls in your current build, you can test them one at a time, but do not assume a particular option exists or that a specific setting will prevent symptoms.

You can try switching the listed vibration or trigger effects off if their feedback feels unpleasant or distracting. PlayStation confirms these options are available, but does not establish that disabling them reduces motion sickness. Consider the change an individual comfort preference, not a treatment.

How to start with less risk of discomfort
PlayStation recommends beginning with short periods, trying seated play first, ventilating the room, gradually increasing play time, and using a timer to remind yourself to take breaks. The Store lists both seated and standing play, so seated play is a supported choice in this game as well as Sony’s suggested starting style for getting used to PS VR2. PlayStation: Getting started with PS VR2
- Set up a seated play area. PlayStation says a seated PS VR2 play area needs at least 1 m × 1 m, with enough clearance to move the controllers freely. PlayStation: Set up your play area
- Keep the first session short. Stop while you still feel comfortable rather than trying to push through a fixed amount of play.
- Increase time gradually. If short sessions feel fine, lengthen them cautiously and take regular breaks. The PS VR2 manual gives 15 minutes of break time for every hour as a general recommendation, while noting that individual needs vary.
- Stop if symptoms begin. The manual says: “If experienced, stop using immediately, and remove the VR headset.” Wait until discomfort has subsided before deciding whether to play again. PlayStation VR2 safety information and instruction manual
What the game’s performance claims do—and do not—tell you
In an August 24, 2026 PlayStation Blog announcement, CM Immersive Game Director Aleksei Shulga described the PS VR2 version as using native 90FPS performance and eye-tracked foveated rendering. He said these technologies help preserve clarity and smoothness. This is the developer’s description, not an independent performance test or a guarantee that an individual player will avoid motion sickness. PlayStation Blog announcement

If symptoms occur, stop and remove the headset rather than trying to finish a mission. Once fully comfortable, you can choose whether to try another short session or adjust an available option. If the live menu offers alternatives such as teleport or continuous movement, snap or smooth turning, or a vignette, compare them individually and keep whichever feels more comfortable to you; the official sources cited here do not confirm that Into the Radius 2 includes those controls.
