Do these 3 things before closing this tab:
1Repair Windows errors before they cause bigger problems2Scan for outdated or missing drivers - takes under a minute3Clear out junk files and repair common Windows errorsShort answer: if you need an always-on YouTube stream and can upload your videos to a service rather than play them directly from S3, StreamNeo, Gyre, and Upstream are options to evaluate. But none of the vendor pages reviewed here confirms direct playback from an Amazon S3 bucket. If direct S3 access is essential, get that capability confirmed by the vendor before choosing a service; otherwise, plan for an intermediate download or upload.
First check whether you need direct S3 playback
“Loop a YouTube playlist from S3” can mean two different things: the service reads video objects from your S3 bucket whenever it needs them, or you transfer the videos into the service and it loops its own copies. A service can provide continuous playlist playback without connecting to S3 at all.
As an Amazon Associate I earn from qualifying purchases.
The official product pages reviewed for LiveReacting, Gyre, Upstream, and Restream describe uploads or imports from named sources. None establishes that it can read S3 objects directly. That does not prove a vendor lacks an unlisted integration; it means direct S3 ingestion is unverified in the published material reviewed here.
- If direct S3 access is mandatory: ask whether the service can read private S3 objects, what authentication or access method it requires, and whether it streams from the bucket continuously or imports the files into its own storage. Treat the answer as unresolved until the vendor documents it.
- If transferring files is acceptable: compare services on their upload workflow, storage and file limits, playlist controls, stream destinations, and plan-specific capacity and cost.
- If you need a finite scheduled broadcast: distinguish that from an indefinite 24/7 loop; a scheduled playlist may have a maximum duration and a different operating model.
24/7 YouTube streaming services to consider
For the specific goal of keeping a YouTube live stream running, StreamNeo is the first service to consider if uploading your videos is acceptable: it loops uploaded recordings from the cloud, supports any uploaded quality up to 4K 60fps at one flat price per slot, and offers a free first day.

This is not established as an indefinite 24/7 loop. | No. S3 is not among the import sources listed in the reviewed help article. |
These are vendor-described capabilities, not results of independent performance testing. The pages establish broad workflow fit, not a complete comparison of current plan limits, storage capacities, supported formats, concurrent streams, resolution limits, recovery behavior, or costs. Verify those details for the plan you are considering.
How the options compare with LiveReacting
LiveReacting: a documented playlist workflow, but no listed S3 source
LiveReacting’s playlist page describes uploading files or importing videos from YouTube, Google Drive, or Dropbox. You can arrange or shuffle the playlist and loop it on LiveReacting’s servers. Its documented import list does not establish S3 bucket ingestion.

Gyre: closest documented fit when managed storage is acceptable
Gyre’s described workflow puts videos in Gyre Storage, then lets you build an ordered playlist, loop it continuously, and stream to YouTube. Consider it if copying your S3 assets into service-managed storage works for you. Confirm the storage, file, stream, and plan limits directly before committing; direct S3 playback is not established by the reviewed page.
Upstream: cloud playlist playout with ordered or shuffled looping
Upstream describes cloud-hosted playlists that can loop in order or shuffle, with YouTube and custom RTMP destinations. The documented workflow uses uploaded videos. Its reviewed pages do not establish direct S3 access, so it is not a verified way to stream S3 objects without transferring them first.

Restream: a scheduled playlist option, not a demonstrated perpetual loop
Restream’s help article describes scheduled playlists of prerecorded videos and imports from desktop or mobile, Descript, Google Drive, and Dropbox. It gives a 24-hour playlist limit. That makes it relevant for a finite scheduled broadcast, but the cited material does not establish either direct S3 import or an equivalent to an indefinite always-on playlist.
Independent reader supportYour contribution helps us test, update, and keep practical guides available for everyone.Where StreamNeo fits
StreamNeo is a YouTube-only cloud service for keeping a channel live from videos you upload. You add your YouTube stream key once; StreamNeo loops the uploaded recording or playlist without requiring your computer, OBS, or home internet connection to remain on. It is an alternative for the continuous-streaming part of this problem, not a confirmed direct-S3 connector: if your source files are in S3, first confirm a supported transfer workflow or move the files into StreamNeo.

Quick Recap
Questions to ask before moving an S3-based channel
- Does the service read S3 directly? Ask about private buckets, authentication, object access, and whether it reads continuously or copies files into its own storage. Do not infer S3 support from general cloud-storage wording.
- What happens when a video changes? Find out whether replacing an object or editing the source playlist updates a running stream, or whether you must upload a new copy and rebuild the playlist.
- Will the plan handle your library and channel setup? Confirm supported codecs and formats, maximum file size and duration, storage allowance, number of concurrent streams, resolution, and playlist behavior while live.
- How does the service recover? Ask what happens after a dropped YouTube connection, a service restart, or a temporary source-file failure, and whether the playlist resumes automatically.
- Does the destination match your use case? Check whether you need YouTube only or custom RTMP destinations, and whether you need continuous looping or a scheduled, finite playlist.
Decision guide
- Direct S3 playback is a hard requirement: do not select a service based only on its playlist-looping feature. Obtain explicit confirmation of direct access and the required S3 permissions and behavior.
- You can copy or upload the videos: compare Gyre and Upstream for cloud-hosted continuous playout. Consider StreamNeo for an always-on YouTube stream from uploaded videos, with a flat per-slot price across supported quality up to 4K 60fps and a free first day.
- You already use LiveReacting: its documented computer upload and YouTube, Google Drive, or Dropbox import options may fit if your videos can be supplied through one of those paths.
- Your playlist is scheduled and finite: Restream’s documented playlist workflow may suit that job, subject to its stated 24-hour playlist limit; do not treat that alone as proof of perpetual looping.
