Read the comic as episodes
Tappytoon: start with the free opening episodes
Tappytoon describes its listing as an official English translation produced by the platform under license from partners. Episodes 0–3 are displayed as free, making them a straightforward way to sample the comic. The page also shows “Every Mon” and says the epilogue is available; those labels alone do not establish current unlock terms or a schedule for every episode. Check the series page for the terms that apply when you read.

Tapas: timed access, with a recent-episode exclusion
Tapas labels Solo Leveling completed and shows a one-day Wait until Free period, excluding the latest 16 episodes. Its page also links to a free first episode. That is not the same as every episode being immediately free: the displayed terms distinguish eligible episodes from the newest ones. Tapas published the series in 2021 and credits the main episodes to DUBU (REDICE STUDIO), Chugong and h-goon; its special episodes are credited to DISCIPLES (REDICE STUDIO), Chugong and h-goon. Access rules can change, so confirm the live listing before planning a reading schedule.

Buy collected digital comic volumes
Yen Press catalogs the comic through volume 15, including two side-story volumes. For volume 1, the publisher page lists digital and paperback editions and names these digital retailers: Amazon, Apple Books, Barnes & Noble, BookWalker, comiXology, Google Play, Kobo, MangaPlaza, MANGA MIRAI and emaqi.

When Yen Press’s volume 1 page was checked on October 5, 2026, it showed the digital edition at $9.99 US / $11.99 Canada and the paperback at $20 US / $26 Canada. These are prices displayed on the publisher page at that time, not guaranteed current prices at each retailer or proof of availability in other regions. The page describes volume 1 as Older Teen, gives a 320-page count and dates its release March 2, 2021. Retailer stock and local pricing should be checked at checkout.
Yen Press credits Chugong as author, DISCIPLES (REDICE STUDIO) as artist, h-goon as adapter, and Hye Young Im and J. Torres as translators. The publisher’s retailer links are for book editions; they are not episode-reading alternatives.
Choose the novel only if you want prose
Yen Press also lists an English Solo Leveling novel. Volume 1 is offered in digital and paperback editions, and the publisher names ebook retailers including Amazon, Apple Books, Barnes & Noble, BookWalker, comiXology, Google Play and Kobo. This is a separate prose format, not the illustrated manhwa; choose it if you want the story in novel form rather than comic panels.
Check region and total cost before committing
The listings cited here establish English-language options, not a complete catalog for every country or language.
