Check the label on the appliance itself, not just the listing title. The Australian SSXXL specification sheet lists a hot or cold tap connection and a maximum hot-water inlet temperature of 70°C, while the CHOICE page also identifies hot or cold connection and the 70°C maximum. Numbers published for other D5896 variants should not be blended with the Australian SSXXL specifications. The manufacturer-hosted European energy sheet is for the D5896XXLFI, not D5896 SSXXL. It gives 14 place settings, 236 kWh/year, 2,646 L/year, 0.83 kWh per standard cycle, a 225-minute standard program and 41 dB(A), on a different regional and regulatory basis.
