For Archero 2 version 1.1.9, Pocket Gamer’s October 6, 2026 tier list puts Nezha and Wukong at the top for characters, while Oracle, Griffin and Dragoon are among its leading gear choices. Pro Game Guides ranks Beam Strike, Corrosive Field, Power Trio, Rapid Fire and Warrior’s Soul among its top skills. These are publisher-authored rankings, not official game ratings. The best choice for you depends on PvE or PvP, star level, gear, runes and how well a character or skill fits your build.

The rankings below reflect guides for version 1.1.9: Pocket Gamer updated its list on October 6, 2026, and Pro Game Guides says it rechecked its rankings on September 24, 2026. Treat their tiers as informed recommendations rather than a universal measure of power.

Compare like with like. Archero 2 characters can perform differently across modes and star levels, and equipment, runes and skill synergy also affect results. Archero 2 Hub says its character rankings assume comparable stars, gear and rune pools. A high-tier character is not automatically the best investment if another option better suits your resources or build.

Pocket Gamer’s character rankings for version 1.1.9 are:

These placements are Pocket Gamer’s assessments, not an official ranking. The tier alone also does not tell you whether a character is a practical upgrade: star requirements and the value of a passive for your preferred content matter.
Character traits that can change the choice
- Dracoola: Pocket Gamer highlights lifesteal from 1-star and says the character improves with additional stars.
- Seraph: The guide says Seraph increases the chance of encountering Valkyrie early and helps unlock higher-grade abilities.
- Nyanja: Pocket Gamer notes increased movement speed and Swift Wind by default. Archero 2 Hub also presents Nyanja as a low-investment option for some free-to-play beginners.
- Helix: Its strength at low HP can be risky, according to Pocket Gamer.
- Alex: The starting character gains an attack-speed boost based on crit at 2-star, according to Pocket Gamer.
Before spending resources, check the star level needed for the feature you want and whether it supports your mode and build. A top-end placement need not outweigh a lower-cost character that already fits your account.

Gear tier list: choose for your mode and build
Pocket Gamer places Oracle, Griffin and Dragoon among its top gear options and also rates multiple pieces from these sets and Decisiveness in S tier. Its list places Echo and Dragon Knight items in A tier or lower. Pro Game Guides adds a use-case distinction:

These are guide recommendations, not guarantees of performance. If you are still progressing, Pro Game Guides advises using the highest-fusion gear available before prioritizing particular pieces. That can be more useful than chasing a named set before you have comparable fusion levels.

Ability and skill rankings
Pro Game Guides lists these skills in S tier: Beam Strike, Corrosive Field, Power Trio, Rapid Fire and Warrior’s Soul. Its high rankings also include skills of different rarities, so rarity alone is not the tier criterion stated by the guide.
Use skill tiers as a starting point for a build, not as a promise that a skill will be best in every run. Pocket Gamer explicitly cautions that ability rankings depend on play style. Its author, Cristina Mesesan, writes: “There is no definite Archero 2 tier list when it comes to abilities here.” Experimenting with compatible gear and abilities is more useful than treating one ranking as mandatory.

What changed in version 1.1.9
Pro Game Guides reports that version 1.1.9 rebalanced the Dragoon set and Meteor build runes, but its guide did not provide exact adjustment values. It also reports new campaign chapters 201–210 and Hard Mode chapters 186–195. Attribute these update details to Pro Game Guides: the available sources do not independently verify them with first-party patch notes.
The Starmoon Vow event described in the guide ran from September 19 to October 2, 2026; it had ended by October 7, 2026. It should not be treated as a currently active event on that date.
