How to choose heroes for your team
Cover the role your lineup is missing
Think in terms of damage, healing and debuff removal, tanking or control, and energy support. For example, Pocket Gamer describes Sakura Tachibana – Sakura Dancer as a healer who removes team debuffs, while Hino Azusa – Magic Arrow deals damage and can boost energy for her column. Magic Arrow can pair well with a stun hero, combining energy support with control.
Account for mode and matchup
A high tier does not guarantee the same value in PvE and PvP. Pocket Gamer calls Irene – Dragon Knight excellent for PvE area damage and endgame progression, but says she is easily countered in PvP. Joan of Arc – Saint of Orleans brings tanking, increased healing received, and damage mitigation for the team; Vera – Dark Shooter can seal single-target damage and stun her target. Those functions may matter more to a particular lineup than the tier label alone.

Build around your roster and upgrades
Pocket Gamer’s author says, “I believe you can make most of the heroes work, as long as they have a decent synergy.” That is editorial guidance, not a measured performance result, but it points to a useful decision rule: consider how a hero works with your existing skills and how much you have already invested before replacing a developed unit for a nominally higher-ranked one.
An older, in-progress Steam community guide also discusses progression, evolution costs, and cases where a lower-tier hero can remain useful because of access or a particular skill. Treat it as supplementary, potentially outdated advice rather than a current definitive ranking. Read the community guide.

What to know about Miya, Magic Arrow, and Sakura Dancer
Miya – Mysterious Girl
Pocket Gamer identifies Miya as the main character the player first customizes and describes her as able to combine durability, buffing, and damage. That makes her an unusual entry in a tier list: assess her as a flexible baseline character, not only as a slot competing with a specialist.
Hino Azusa – Magic Arrow
Magic Arrow is a damage dealer with column energy support. Pairing her with a stun hero is one synergy specifically noted by Pocket Gamer; whether that combination suits you depends on the rest of your formation.
