The most dependable Emperor Modulator run starts at Pendola Pass while the map is under the Redirection condition. Find an active Damaged Emperor Relay, activate it, take the Emperor Beacon to a clear outdoor position, and let the falling payload finish. The large Harvester Payload can provide the three couplers and the Emperor Gateway Conduit Blueprint needed to open the fallen Emperor. Craft the conduit at Workbench I, enter the dungeon, and spend your remaining time searching the final loot hangar, wall panels, hatches and floor canisters. One or two containers in the final room can hold the Modulator.
The route is not a single memorized corridor. The Emperor’s middle rooms are randomized, and the interior route can change between sessions, so learn the room types and keep enough time for the final hangar and extraction.

Best Emperor Modulator farming route at a glance
- Queue for Pendola Pass when the map condition is Redirection.
- Check the map for one of the two currently active Damaged Emperor Relays. There are ten fixed relay locations in total, according to Power Up Gaming’s 2026 guide.
- Activate a relay and collect its Emperor Beacon. You can carry up to three beacons at once.
- Move to an open area with clear sky, deploy the beacon, and take cover. The arriving debris can damage both health and shields.
- Loot the large Harvester Payload. Look for an ARC Conductive Coupler, ARC Insulated Coupler, ARC Plated Coupler and the Emperor Gateway Conduit Blueprint, along with other ARC components.
- At Workbench I, craft the Emperor Gateway Conduit using one of each coupler and the blueprint.
- Return to the fallen Emperor, use the conduit to unlock the entrance, and work through the randomized trial rooms.
- In the final hangar, search the loot containers, exposed payloads, wall panels, hatches and floor canisters. Destroy yellow wall nodes when possible to expose more loot.
- Put the Modulator in your safe pocket immediately, then use the opened hatch or a side exit to extract.
This is the highest-confidence preparation path because Redirection payloads are the main repeatable source for the key materials. Surveyor Vaults can also contain the blueprint, and the Frigate can provide couplers, but those are fallback options rather than a better primary route.

How to obtain the Emperor Gateway Conduit
Find an active Damaged Emperor Relay
Power Up Gaming reports ten fixed Damaged Emperor Relay spots, with two active at any given time. The active relays appear on the map, so you do not need to search all ten locations in every match. Plan your approach around the marked relay and avoid crossing unnecessary points of interest before you have the beacon.

- Read Before You Buy — No Video Output: These adapters support charging and USB 2.0 data transfer, but cannot transmit video signals. Except for standard USB webcams (which use USB data only), they are not compatible with HDMI/DisplayPort cables, video-capable USB-C hubs, or docking stations with video output.
- Convert USB-A Ports to USB-C: Designed to connect USB-C earphones, cables, flash drives, card readers, and other USB-C accessories to standard USB-A ports. Plug-and-play with no drivers or software required.
- Aluminum Alloy Housing: Built with a sturdy aluminum alloy shell that aids in heat dissipation and protects against daily wear and scratches. Designed to maintain a stable and secure connection.
- Compact & Travel-Friendly: The ultra-compact design allows the adapter to stay plugged into your device without blocking adjacent ports or adding bulk, reducing wear and tear on your original USB ports.
- 12-Month Warranty: Backed by a 12-month manufacturer warranty for peace of mind. Designed to meet strict quality control standards for reliable everyday performance.
Relay activity is a match-level opportunity: if the relay you wanted is inactive, use the map to identify the other active location. Carrying more than one beacon is useful when the route is safe and your squad has enough inventory space; the reported limit is three Emperor Beacons at a time.
Activate the relay and deploy the beacon safely
Interact with the active relay to receive an Emperor Beacon, then move away from the activation area. Deployment requires open sky. Dense structures, narrow courtyards and overhangs make the drop harder to manage, so select a broad outdoor space before triggering it.
Take cover as soon as the beacon is deployed. The falling debris is not cosmetic: Power Up Gaming warns that it can damage health and shields. A short retreat behind solid cover is safer than trying to watch the payload arrive in the open.

The large payload is the important preparation cache. Its possible contents include:
- ARC Conductive Coupler
- ARC Insulated Coupler
- ARC Plated Coupler
- Emperor Gateway Conduit Blueprint
- Pneumatic Actuators
- Pressure Regulators
- Other ARC parts
You need one Conductive Coupler, one Insulated Coupler, one Plated Coupler and the conduit blueprint to craft the Emperor Gateway Conduit. The couplers and blueprint are not guaranteed in every payload, so a failed first opening is a normal reason to run another Redirection event rather than abandon the route.
Craft the conduit at Workbench I
Once all four required materials are in your stash, use a Workbench I to craft the Emperor Gateway Conduit. The conduit is the entry key for the fallen Emperor; collecting a beacon without completing this craft does not open the dungeon.
Before leaving for the Emperor, verify the craft result and keep the conduit in the inventory you intend to take into the match. If one coupler is missing, check secondary sources before committing to the dungeon run.

Secondary ways to complete missing materials
Surveyor Vaults
Arc Raiders Hub reports that the Emperor Gateway Conduit Blueprint may also appear in a Surveyor Vault. This is a useful alternative when Redirection payloads have supplied couplers but not the blueprint. It is a possibility, not a guaranteed replacement for the relay route.
The Frigate
Arc Raiders Hub also lists the Frigate as another source for couplers. The Frigate is boardable on several maps, but those runs can be heavily contested. Use it when a specific coupler is blocking your craft and the risk of a contested boarding action is acceptable.
The Frigate also matters for a different farming goal: its hatches are a separate source of Amplification Modules. That makes the Frigate a valid module destination, but it is not the same loot table or route as the Emperor Modulator run.
| Route | Primary purpose | What can be found | Main drawback |
|---|---|---|---|
| Pendola Pass during Redirection | Prepare the Emperor run | Large Harvester Payload; possible three couplers and conduit blueprint | Required materials are possible, not guaranteed |
| Surveyor Vault | Backup blueprint search | Possible Emperor Gateway Conduit Blueprint | Not established as a guaranteed spawn |
| Frigate | Backup coupler search and separate module farming | Possible couplers; hatches can contain Amplification Modules | Boarding can be heavily contested |
| Fallen Emperor interior | Modulator-focused destination | Final-room containers, wall-panel payloads and other interior loot | Requires crafted conduit and randomized trials |
Reaching and opening the fallen Emperor
Bring the right entry item
Take the crafted Emperor Gateway Conduit to the fallen Emperor. The conduit is the item used to unlock the door, so entering without it wastes the preparation run. Keep your inventory organized before approaching the entrance and avoid unnecessary fights that can consume the time reserved for the final hangar.

The Emperor is not solved by one fixed hallway sequence. Arc Raiders Hub says the interior route changes between sessions and that six route layouts exist in the game files. The practical implication is to recognize room types, hazards and exits instead of relying on a single video’s turn-by-turn path.
Randomized trials make navigation slower for a first clear. Once inside, prioritize forward progress and note alternate doors, vertical routes and any room that contains a possible side cache. Do not spend the run fully clearing every intermediate room if the final loot area is still ahead.
Use the secret-tunnel option when it appears
Power Up Gaming describes a deeper container reached by ignoring an offered exit and dropping into a nearby secret tunnel. If the route presents that choice, inspect the tunnel before taking the obvious exit. The extra descent can lead to a deeper container, but only take it when your health, ammunition and remaining extraction time support the detour.

Where the Emperor Modulator actually drops
Search the final loot room first
The final loot room, also described as the final hangar, is the Modulator-focused destination. PC Gamer’s guide states that one or two containers in the final room can contain Emperor Modulators. Those containers should receive your first complete search before you spend time on optional side rooms.
A container is a possible source, not a promise that every run produces a Modulator. If the first container is empty, search the second and then work through the additional exposed loot described below.
Destroy yellow wall nodes
PC Gamer recommends destroying yellow nodes on the walls to expose additional loot payloads. Bring a weapon suited to those targets and inspect the hangar walls rather than treating the visible containers as the entire loot pool.
Arc Raiders Hub reports about 30 wall panels in the Emperor’s main interior. A launch-day run recorded Amplification Modules from Mk. I through Mk. V in wall panels. That evidence makes the panels valuable for broader module farming, although it does not establish that every panel or every session contains a Modulator.
Check hatches, floor canisters and exposed payloads
Power Up Gaming advises checking wall panels, hatches and floor canisters. Arc Raiders Hub also describes exposed payloads among the interior loot. Sweep these locations after the final-room containers and yellow nodes, using a consistent direction so you do not leave a corner unsearched.

The Modulator remains associated with the final loot area; the extra checks improve the chance of finding other valuable drops and can reveal containers exposed by destroyed nodes. They also matter when the main room’s first visible containers are empty.
Loadout for an efficient Emperor run
Movement and vertical access
Bring a Snap Hook. PC Gamer recommends it for vertical traversal, and the Emperor’s changing layouts can make climbing or crossing gaps the difference between reaching the hangar and timing out.

Weapons for yellow nodes and Hydra turrets
For yellow nodes, PC Gamer recommends an Anvil or Renegade. Hydra turrets are a separate threat: the recommended answer is a Hullcracker, with the Rascal as a slower alternative. Choose the weapon combination that lets your squad handle required targets without carrying more ammunition than the extraction clock allows.
Survivability supplies
Arc Raiders Hub recommends shields, heals and Stims. The relay payload’s falling debris can damage health and shields, the interior may contain ARC enemies, and a rushed extraction magnifies small injuries. Carry enough recovery items to survive the entry and still fight or evade enemies in the hangar.
Inventory discipline
Leave room for the conduit before entering and for the Modulator after it is found. Place the Modulator in the safe pocket immediately. A safe-pocketed item is protected from the ordinary consequences of a failed extraction, while a loose item remains exposed to the run’s outcome.
Managing enemies and the extraction timer
Clear only what blocks progress
The final hangar can spawn ARC enemies. Clear enemies that control the containers, yellow nodes or extraction path; evade groups that do not block the objective. Full-room combat is slower and noisier than a focused search, especially when the objective is already available.
Reserve time for the final hangar
Arc Raiders Hub says a broadcast warns that the safe window is closing with about ten minutes left. Treat that warning as an extraction deadline, not as spare exploration time. Reach the final hangar with enough minutes to search, secure the Modulator, fight or bypass enemies and travel to an exit.
After looting, use the opened hatch or a side exit to extract. Do not remain in the hangar to search every intermediate room after the Modulator is secured; the item’s value is realized only when the run ends successfully.

Route choices: which objective are you farming?
| Your goal | Best first destination | Why | What to watch |
|---|---|---|---|
| Get your first Emperor Modulator | Pendola Pass under Redirection, then the fallen Emperor | Redirection supplies the preparation materials and the Emperor’s final hangar is the Modulator-focused area | Craft the conduit before entry and preserve final-hangar time |
| Find the conduit blueprint after a failed payload | Another Redirection payload or a Surveyor Vault | Both are reported blueprint sources | Neither source is described as guaranteed |
| Find one missing coupler | Another Redirection payload or the Frigate | Payloads are the main preparation route; the Frigate is a secondary coupler source | Frigate boarding may be heavily contested |
| Farm Amplification Modules | Emperor wall panels and Frigate hatches | Wall panels have produced Mk. I–V modules in a launch-day run, and Frigate hatches are another source | These are separate from the Modulator’s final-room focus |
| Practice the Emperor safely | Enter with a completed conduit and a survival-focused loadout | Learning room types is more useful than memorizing one route because layouts vary | Do not spend the safe-window buffer on optional fights |
Common failure points and fixes
The relay is not at the expected location
Only two of the ten fixed relay spots are active at a time. Check the map for the active markers instead of assuming every known spot is usable in the current match.

The payload did not provide all three couplers
Payload contents are not guaranteed. Run another Redirection event, check the Frigate for possible couplers, and keep any components already collected. You need one Conductive, one Insulated and one Plated Coupler; duplicates do not replace the missing type.
You have couplers but no blueprint
Search another large Harvester Payload or try a Surveyor Vault, which Arc Raiders Hub lists as another possible blueprint source. Do not travel to the Emperor until the blueprint and all three couplers are available for the Workbench I craft.
The debris damages you during beacon deployment
Deploy only in a clear area, then move behind solid cover. The warning applies to both health and shields, so healing after the impact is not a substitute for taking cover before it arrives.
Do these 3 things before closing this tab:
1Fix the driver behind crashes, sound loss and screen glitches2Clear out junk files and repair common Windows errors3Scan for outdated or missing drivers - takes under a minuteYou reach the hangar with too little time
Stop optional fights in the middle rooms, use the Snap Hook for faster vertical movement, and avoid detours unless the secret tunnel’s deeper container is close and the timer allows it. The final hangar needs time for the container search, wall-node work, enemy handling and extraction.
The final containers are empty
Search both possible final-room containers, then inspect yellow wall nodes, wall panels, hatches, floor canisters and exposed payloads. A container can contain a Modulator, but no cited guide treats every run as a guaranteed drop.
You cannot identify the correct route inside
Stop following a fixed corridor memory. The interior route changes between sessions, and Arc Raiders Hub reports six layouts in the game files. Identify the current room type, locate the next viable exit and keep moving toward the final hangar.
Pre-run checklist
- Pendola Pass is running the Redirection condition, or you have chosen a documented backup route.
- An active Damaged Emperor Relay is marked on the map.
- You have space for the beacon, couplers and eventual conduit.
- The Emperor Gateway Conduit Blueprint is secured.
- You have one ARC Conductive Coupler, one ARC Insulated Coupler and one ARC Plated Coupler.
- The Emperor Gateway Conduit is crafted at Workbench I.
- A Snap Hook is equipped.
- An Anvil or Renegade is available for yellow nodes.
- A Hullcracker, or the slower Rascal alternative, is available for Hydra turrets.
- Shields, heals and Stims are stocked.
- Your squad agrees to reserve the final ten-minute safe-window warning for the hangar and extraction.
How current is this route?
The guide coverage supporting these locations was dated October 8–9, 2026 and crawled on October 20, 2026. Arc Raiders Hub explicitly says its Amplification Module route was still being confirmed in a full run and marks the guide as updated. Loot tables, panel contents and room behavior can therefore change after a game patch.
Use the Redirection-to-Emperor sequence as the current best-supported method, but recheck the in-game map, relay activity and patch notes if a later update changes the condition, crafting recipe, room layouts or loot tables.
