XR Animator

XR Animator turns webcam video, images, or video clips into motion for MMD and VRM 3D avatars. It uses MediaPipe and TensorFlow.js for pose detection, with face, full-body, or combined face, body, and hand tracking. Full-body capture accepts a webcam or an image or video file; facial tracking supports 52 ARKit-compatible blendshapes. You can record motion capture, export VMD, BVH, or glTF motion, and load VMD, FBX, or BVH files. FBX and BVH motion can also be exported to VMD. In Electron mode, VMC can animate models in compatible apps such as VSeeFace, VNyan, and Warudo. Scenes can combine 2D images or video, 3D panoramas, and .x or .glb objects. The web app runs in major desktop and smartphone browsers, with augmented reality available in Android Chrome. Downloadable Electron apps are available for Windows, Linux, and macOS. VMC and a frameless transparent capture background are Electron-only features. Smartphones with limited processing power may be better suited to face tracking alone.
