What Swetrix is

Swetrix is an open-source, privacy-focused web analytics platform for understanding traffic, monitoring performance, and tracking errors. It provides real-time dashboards, cookieless tracking, unsampled data, events and goals, conversion funnels, user-flow analysis, session and user-profile analysis, error tracking, and revenue tracking. Session replays, feature flags, and A/B testing are included with Plus rather than Standard. RESTful API and SDK access are available, with hourly limits of 300 requests on Standard and 6,000 on Plus. Integration guidance covers JavaScript, HTML script tags, CMS platforms, frontend and backend frameworks, Google Search Console, and Google Tag Manager. Cloud analytics data is stored and processed on Hetzner servers in Germany, within the European Union. Swetrix describes encryption in transit, protected integration tokens, bcrypt passwords, and optional two-factor authentication. The Community Edition can be self-hosted with Docker. Standard costs $19 a month and Plus $39 a month, with 14-day trials; Enterprise pricing is custom.

Who it suits

Swetrix suits teams needing privacy-focused website analytics, event and conversion measurement, error tracking, or self-hosted deployment. It supports web, Linux, APIs, and Docker-based Community Edition hosting.

What it does well

  • Cookieless tracking without persistent cross-device tracking
  • Real-time dashboards and unsampled data
  • Funnels, events, goals, and revenue tracking

Verdict

Swetrix covers traffic, conversion, performance, and error analytics with privacy-oriented tracking and a self-hosting option. Standard and Plus differ materially in replay, experimentation, and API capacity, so plan limits should guide selection.
