Speechnotes

What Speechnotes is

Speechnotes is a cloud-based dictation and transcription service for people who want to turn speech or recordings into text. Dictation is available on the web, Android, and as a Chrome extension, with custom vocabulary and voice commands. It requires an internet connection; offline dictation is not supported.

The free Dictation plan costs nothing, billed monthly, and includes an online dictation notepad, voice typing Chrome extension, and unlimited dictation. Dictation Premium is $1.90 a month, billed for one year, and does not auto-renew. It adds premium versions of the notepad and extension, removes ads, includes development-team support, and allows unlimited continuous dictation. A separate Transcription plan is pay as you go with no subscription, priced at $0.10 a month. It covers audio and video transcription, English speaker diarization, timestamps, SRT captions, REST API, webhooks, and Zapier integration. Speechnotes was founded in 2015.

Who it suits

Speechnotes suits people dictating online on web, Android, or Chrome, and teams needing audio or video transcription with timestamps or captions.
