Google Cloud Capacity Planner alternatives
Google Cloud Capacity Planner helps teams gauge current and near-term demand across Compute Engine, disks, GPUs, TPUs, and Cloud Storage egress. Its forecasts combine linear and superlinear models, and compute usage can be viewed at P50, P75, or P99. Teams can export data, use the REST API across project, folder, and organization scopes, and request quota increases automatically for supported resources when usage data is sufficient. The service has no additional cost, though the Google Cloud resources used with it are billed separately.

Its focus is Google Cloud, with forecasts extending up to six months; it does not forecast Spot VMs or Cloud Storage buckets. The Preview service may have limited support, and some organizations must request access. Its web and API access may also be too narrow for teams that need physical data-center planning, broader infrastructure views, or network design. Compare alternatives by the resources they cover, deployment options, integrations, and price, and decide whether those needs outweigh Capacity Planner’s quota tools and Google Cloud-specific forecasts.
