Instead of Fluent Reader
Fluent Reader alternatives
Fluent Reader is a free, open-source RSS reader for Windows, macOS, Linux, Android and iOS. It supports reading full articles, regular-expression searches and rules to star, hide or mark articles unread. You can group subscriptions, back up and restore app data, and connect services such as Feedbin, Inoreader and servers compatible with Fever or Google Reader API. Its privacy policy says it does not collect, store or share personal information.

Another reader may fit better if you want to host feeds yourself, follow sources beyond RSS, or use a web app or browser extension. Fluent Reader’s mobile companion is available through an Android APK and iOS TestFlight, rather than a web reader. Compare alternatives by where feeds are hosted, which sources they cover, and the search, sharing and automation tools they offer. If you connect Fluent Reader to a service, local articles with matching source URLs are removed, though your custom rules and preferences remain. The right switch depends on which devices and feed-management options matter most to you.
