Instead of ASUS DisplayWidget Center

ASUS DisplayWidget Center alternatives

ASUS DisplayWidget Center gives compatible ASUS monitor owners centralized control over display modes, brightness, contrast, colour temperature and input switching. It adds app-specific profiles, keyboard shortcuts, window layouts, PIP/PBP, KVM controls, OLED care, gaming functions and maintenance tools. The AI Assistant accepts text or voice requests, while Display CLI and AI Agent Skills support programmatic control. It is free, but works only with select ASUS monitors and requires Windows 11 or later or macOS 12 Monterey or later. AI Assistant use also needs internet access and account login.

An alternative may fit better when you use Linux, another monitor brand or a different control style. Some choices emphasize APIs, Home Assistant, command-line workflows, multi-monitor brightness, ambient-light automation or peripheral customization instead of ASUS-specific OLED and gaming features. Check monitor and connection compatibility first, then weigh whether you need schedules, profiles, scripting, graphical controls, firmware tools or integrations. Also consider whether a tool supports your operating system and hardware without requiring ASUS displays.
