The post gives a useful starting point for planning a controller organizer, but it does not document a finished foam layout or prove that every listed item fits. Measure your own gear and case before cutting or ordering an insert.
What the Switch 2 setup is meant to hold
In a Reddit post dated June 8, 2025, the owner said they wanted a case for the controllers they had bought for the Switch 2 launch. Their list included Nintendo Switch Online NES, SNES, N64, GameCube, and Sega controllers; a Joy-Con 2 Charging Grip; a Switch 2 Pro Controller; and two Joy-Con 2 Wheels. The post describes an accessory organizer, not a tested console fit.

The poster also said they had bought a Switch 2 logo sticker that was too large and would need to trim it. They planned to glue two foam pieces together and apply Plasti Dip, but did not verify the finished result. That plan is one user’s intended customization, not a tested or recommended foam-treatment method. Read the June 8, 2025 community post.

A March 2020 Harbor Freight advertisement mirrored by Dealiome listed Apache 4800 interior dimensions of 17 7/8 × 12 7/8 × 6 1/4 inches and exterior dimensions of 20 5/16 × 15 1/2 × 7 3/8 inches. It also described the case as including pick-a-part foam. These are historical advertised specifications, so measure your own case rather than treating them as a guarantee for every unit or production run. See the March 2020 advertisement.

Measure each controller and accessory, including any grip or attached parts that will remain in place. Then check the intended cutout depth and leave enough room to lift each item out without pulling on sticks, buttons, or cables. The Reddit post does not provide a cut pattern or measurements, so there is no verified layout to copy.
Choose between rearrangeable foam and a fitted insert
The Apache 4800’s included pick-a-part foam offers a way to shape spaces around your particular equipment without ordering a custom insert. The trade-off is that changes to the layout involve removing foam; the available sources do not establish how easily a specific arrangement can be revised or how well any particular cut protects these controllers.

For a tailored replacement, MyCaseBuilder lists custom foam compatible with the Apache 4800, and Case Club lists a fitted insert for the case. Neither listing identifies a Switch 2-specific insert. When a panel makes sense
A panel is a separate customization path for a case that needs mounted controls, electronics, or interfaces; it is not necessary for a basic controller organizer. DataPro lists Apache 4800 panels and says installation requires a bracket kit or a panel-ready modified case. Check the installation requirements before choosing this route.
