Campaign achievements and collectibles
Several listed objectives make useful progress markers while playing the campaign:
- First Blood: destroy 10 towers.
- Two In One: morph units 5 times.
- Gold Standard: earn a gold medal.
- Little Collector: gather 20 abilities.
- They’re Mine, Mine!: gather 10 units of Carusaurum.
- War Hero: earn every gold medal.
These are the requirements shown on Steam’s global achievement page. The page is a checklist, not a full route for earning each medal or collectible.

How to approach Anomaly 2’s strategy
Anomaly 2 is a tactical strategy game from 11 bit studios, released on Steam on May 15, 2013. Its campaign centers on planning a convoy and supporting it in the field. Units can morph into mech forms with different abilities, so squad composition and the timing of a morph both matter. Steam describes the game as offering many tactical squad combinations and alternative campaign endings.
Campaign: plan the squad, then react in the field
Build your approach around the encounter rather than treating morphing as a one-time upgrade. Choose a convoy composition for the threats ahead, then use available unit forms and abilities to respond to specific combat situations. This is the strategy loop implied by the game’s official description; the available sources do not establish one universally best squad or medal route.

For achievement progress, keep the visible campaign goals in view as you play: destroy towers, morph units, collect abilities and Carusaurum, and pursue gold medals. Since War Hero requires every gold medal, medal completion is a broader campaign objective than earning the single-medal achievement.
Multiplayer: a different objective and a dependency on other players
The game also has an asymmetric tower-defense versus tower-offense mode. That differs from the campaign’s convoy progression: multiplayer achievements can require wins or map-specific play and therefore depend on access to another player. Steam Community guides may help explain the mode or its achievements, but community posts are not guarantees about present-day match availability.
