The available guides do not confirm a reset button, a fee, a refund percentage, or whether resets apply to one weapon or every weapon. Before spending Skill Tokens, open the live Skill Tree for your equipped weapon and look for a clearly labeled Reset, Refund, Respec, Undo, or confirmation control. If none appears, do not assume that changing weapons, leaving the server, or talking to an NPC will return your points.
This uncertainty matters because Anime Zero is a Roblox experience by LY* that is still in active development. Its Roblox listing warns that players may encounter bugs, performance problems, or incomplete features. Menus and progression rules can therefore change without older guides being updated.

What is actually confirmed about resetting?
Anime Zero is described on its Roblox listing as “an immersive anime dungeon crawler RPG that combines deep exploration with fast-paced combat and a diverse lineup of high-intensity game modes.” The listing showed 24.6 million visits, servers for up to 20 players, and October 11, 2026 as its latest update date. Those figures describe the listing at that time, not a promise that the current build has the same interface or progression rules.

How Anime Zero’s skill trees are reported to work
Independent guides report one tree for each weapon rather than a single account-wide tree. Those guides divide a tree into four branches: Attack (ATK), Crit (CRIT), Defense (DEF), and Speed (SPD). The practical implication is important: confirm which weapon is equipped before you buy a node, and do not assume that points purchased on one weapon follow you to another.
Reported token stages
An Anime Zero Online guide checked on October 14, 2026, and a separate MobilesTalk FAQ both report upgrade stages at 1, 5, 9, and 11 tokens. These figures are community or secondary-source reports, not developer-confirmed values. A patch can move the thresholds, rename nodes, or change how tokens are counted.
| Reported stage | How to use the information | Verification status |
|---|---|---|
| 1 token | Earliest reported investment point | Reported by independent guides; not confirmed by LY* |
| 5 tokens | Second reported stage | Reported by independent guides; not confirmed by LY* |
| 9 tokens | Third reported stage | Reported by independent guides; not confirmed by LY* |
| 11 tokens | Fourth reported stage | Reported by independent guides; not confirmed by LY* |
Use the numbers only as a planning hypothesis. Read the current node requirement in Roblox immediately before purchasing; the number shown there outranks an older guide.
Reported bonus figures
The MobilesTalk FAQ lists secondary-source claims of up to 60% more attack, 15% critical-hit chance, 25% less damage taken, and 25% faster movement. Those are not established as permanent values. They may refer to a particular version, a fully developed branch, or wording that has since changed. Do not calculate a build around them until the live node descriptions display the same values.

What each branch is for
There is no developer-certified ranking for ATK, CRIT, DEF, or SPD. Choose according to the weapon you use most and the reason your runs fail. The following framework translates the independent guide’s advice into decisions you can test without assuming a universal “best” tree.
Attack (ATK)
Attack is the safest broadly useful opening according to independent guides. It improves the damage of actions you use frequently, so it is a sensible first consideration when your weapon already feels reliable and you want shorter fights. Check the node text: a bonus may apply to a particular attack, weapon state, or damage type rather than every hit.
Crit (CRIT)
Crit is more attractive after your build clears ordinary encounters consistently. Critical chance does nothing for a hit that never lands, and a high-variance damage plan can feel worse in content where survival is already marginal. Compare the current CRIT wording with your weapon’s attack frequency and any existing critical effects before committing.
Defense (DEF)
Defense is the practical choice when incoming damage ends runs before your damage output becomes relevant. Use it for the hardest stage you can nearly clear, not simply because a defensive percentage sounds large. Confirm whether the node reduces all damage, a specific source, or damage only under a condition.
Speed (SPD)
Speed matters most when movement, positioning, or farming time is the bottleneck. Faster movement can help you avoid attacks and finish repeated runs sooner, but it may provide little value if your weapon’s damage is the limiting factor. Verify whether the live node changes movement speed, attack speed, cooldowns, or another timing statistic; “SPD” labels are not enough on their own.

A pre-spend checklist that prevents most regrets
Because the reset rules are unverified, treat every purchase as if it might be permanent. Complete this checklist before confirming a node:
- Equip the intended weapon. Independent guides report separate trees per weapon and no transfer of purchased nodes when you switch.
- Open the Skill Tree and read every available node. Record the exact current effect, token cost, prerequisites, and whether the bonus names a particular attack.
- Identify your failure point. Decide whether runs end because enemies take too long to defeat, critical hits are too infrequent, you die, or movement slows the clear.
- Check your token balance after the purchase. Take a screenshot or note the balance and node state if the interface behaves unexpectedly. This is a record for your own support request, not proof that a refund exists.
- Test in ordinary content first. Confirm that the effect appears in the situations described by the node before spending toward another branch.
- Stop if the wording is unclear. An ambiguous tooltip is a reason to wait for clarification, not a reason to guess.
How to check the live game for a respec control
No source supplies a verified click-by-click route, so the safest procedure is an inspection rather than an invented walkthrough.
- Join the current Anime Zero Roblox experience and wait for the character and weapon data to finish loading.
- Open the game’s progression or Skill Tree screen using the control currently shown in the live HUD. Labels can change between updates, so follow the on-screen name rather than an old video.
- Confirm that the displayed weapon is the one whose nodes you intend to change.
- Inspect the whole tree, including corners, a context menu, and any button that appears only after selecting a purchased node.
- Look specifically for Reset, Refund, Respec, Undo, or a similarly explicit command. Read the confirmation dialog completely.
- Before accepting, check whether the dialog states a cost, the number of points returned, a cooldown, a weapon scope, or an irreversible consequence.
- If no explicit control or explanation appears, cancel out and keep the allocation. Do not infer a reset from a weapon-switch button, a server-rejoin option, or a general settings menu.
If the live menu does show a reset, follow its displayed terms exactly. Those terms are the only reliable source for the current price and refund behavior. Capture the wording before confirming so you can distinguish a full refund from a partial one.
Does switching weapons reset skill points?
Switching weapons and respecing are separate actions. The independent branch guide reports that each weapon has its own tree and that purchased nodes are not carried to another weapon. That means changing to a new weapon should not be treated as a refund of the previous weapon’s investment.
Use this sequence when changing loadouts:
- Open the tree while the old weapon is active and note its purchased nodes.
- Switch to the new weapon.
- Open the tree again and verify that the interface identifies the new weapon.
- Spend tokens only after confirming that the displayed nodes belong to the weapon you intend to keep.
If the game shows a different behavior in your current build, rely on the live display and preserve screenshots. An apparent disappearance of nodes could be a loading problem, a weapon-specific tree, or an update—not evidence that points were refunded.

Choosing an allocation when no reset exists
If the live menu has no respec command, build around the weapon that carries most of your runs. The independent guide’s recommendation is to strengthen actions used often, then revisit the tree when harder fights reveal a weakness. A simple decision matrix helps keep the choice tied to measurable problems.
| Your bottleneck | First branch to examine | What to verify in the node text |
|---|---|---|
| Enemies survive too long | ATK | Whether the bonus affects your primary attacks, all damage, or a condition |
| Damage is inconsistent after clears are stable | CRIT | Critical chance, critical damage, and any weapon or attack restriction |
| You die before the final encounter | DEF | Which damage sources are reduced and whether the reduction is conditional |
| Dodging, positioning, or repeated farming takes too long | SPD | Whether speed changes movement, attack timing, cooldowns, or another statistic |
Do not split a small token pool across every branch merely to unlock icons. A focused allocation gives you a clearer test: if the problem improves, you know which investment caused it. Once you can reliably clear your target content, consider a secondary branch that addresses the next limiting factor.
How to evaluate a build without a universal best tree
Compare allocations on four axes rather than using a tier list:
- Damage on your actual attacks: Count the attacks you use most, not the theoretical maximum of a move you rarely trigger.
- Survivability in near-clear content: Judge DEF by whether it lets you complete the hardest stage you almost finish, not by the headline percentage alone.
- Movement and clear-time efficiency: SPD is valuable when positioning or farming time dominates the run; it is less valuable when enemies remain the main obstacle.
- Weapon permanence: Ask whether you plan to keep the weapon long enough to justify its separate tree. Independent guides report that nodes are tied to the weapon rather than shared.
Write down a baseline before changing anything: the stage, weapon, approximate clear time, and the reason for failure. After an allocation, test the same scenario. This is more useful than copying a percentage from an older FAQ, especially while the game is being updated.

Assuming a free reset
No searched source verifies a free reset. Do not reserve tokens on the assumption that a later refund will be available, and do not spend premium currency unless the in-game confirmation clearly states the amount and result.
Treating reported bonuses as permanent
The figures of 60% attack, 15% critical-hit chance, 25% less damage taken, and 25% faster movement come from a secondary FAQ. They are useful leads for what to inspect, not guaranteed live values. Read the node itself.
Spending on the wrong weapon
Because guides report one tree per weapon, verify the weapon name or icon at the top of the Skill Tree before every purchase. Switching later may leave the original investment on the original tree.
Interpreting a bug as a refund
The Roblox listing explicitly warns of bugs, performance issues, and incomplete features during active development. If nodes or tokens appear missing, re-open the tree after the data finishes loading, rejoin once, and record what changed. Do not spend again to “replace” a node until the state is clear.
Troubleshooting an apparent missing reset or missing tokens
- Recheck the active weapon. A different weapon can display a different tree.
- Close and reopen the Skill Tree. Confirm that the purchased-node state and token balance finish loading.
- Rejoin the experience once. This can distinguish a temporary display problem from a persistent progression state, but it does not create a refund.
- Read any update notice. Anime Zero’s feature set can change while it remains in active development.
- Compare the live wording with an official LY* announcement. Use the announcement’s date and version context when available.
- Do not make another purchase to test the issue. A second transaction can make it harder to determine whether the first one was recorded correctly.
If the game provides an official support or bug-report route, include your Roblox username as requested by that route, the weapon equipped, the node name, the token balance before and after, the date, and screenshots of the live menu. Do not claim a refund entitlement unless the game’s own text promises one.
What a confirmed reset would need to tell you
When a reset feature appears, evaluate it against five questions before accepting:
- Scope: Does it reset the active weapon only, every weapon, or an account-wide tree?
- Cost: Is the charge tokens, a normal in-game currency, Robux, an item, or nothing?
- Refund: Are all spent tokens returned, or only some?
- Frequency: Is there a cooldown, a one-time limit, or unlimited use?
- Confirmation: Does the final dialog name the exact nodes and the resulting balance?
Until those details are visible in the current game or stated by LY*, the correct status for each item is “not established,” not “free,” “paid,” or “full refund.”

Plan as though skill-tree spending is permanent. Put early tokens into the branch that addresses the weapon’s real bottleneck—usually ATK for a broadly useful start, CRIT after reliable clears, DEF when survival ends runs, or SPD when movement and farming time are the problem. Verify every node in the live menu, keep weapon-specific trees separate in your planning, and treat the 1/5/9/11 stages and reported bonus percentages as unconfirmed guide figures. A reset may be added or changed as Anime Zero develops, but no searched source currently proves a button, price, or refund rule.
