Summer Siege in Anime Expeditions has nine event units, but they are split across four progression systems rather than one banner. Farm Tidal Siege for Sand Dollars and the Sharktooth Conch route, spend Sand Dollars on Summer Capsules, complete Kitsune Bingo, reach level 50 of the Season 2 Battle Pass, and craft Sovereign’s Portal from Tier 5 materials. Lightning God (Overcharged) is the exception: published guides disagree, so the live client’s Obtainment panel or current shop is the only safe authority before you spend resources.
All nine Summer Siege units at a glance
Summer Siege is presented as Update 2.0 and uses event-specific tracks instead of the standard banner. The table below puts every named unit beside its reported route and the action that advances it.
| Unit | Reported route | What to do | Evidence confidence |
|---|---|---|---|
| Head Captain (Char) | Summer Capsule | Earn Tidal Siege Sand Dollars, buy Summer Capsules in the Summer Shop, and stop when the unit is collected. | Medium |
| Rainman (Forecast) | Summer Capsule | Use the same capsule pool; check the live rate panel because published percentages conflict. | Medium |
| Sand (Alligator) | Summer Capsule | Buy Summer Capsules; the September guide lists a 100-Sand-Dollar price per capsule. | Medium |
| Water Mage (Scholar) | Summer Capsule | Buy Summer Capsules; the September guide lists a 100-Sand-Dollar price per capsule. | Medium |
| Sharkfang (Abyssal) | Tidal Siege | In Coral Kingdom–Tidal Siege on Hard Mode, fish up a Sharktooth Conch, activate it before the run ends, defeat the boss horde, and finish the stage. | Medium |
| Sovereign (Djinn) | Sovereign’s Portal | Farm Tier 5 materials and craft the portal from four Djinn’s Treasures. Confirm the current host rule before entering. | Low to medium |
| Kitsune | Kitsune Bingo | Complete one full Kitsune Bingo board; one guide identifies the requirement as Board #1. | High |
| Jester | Season 2 Battle Pass | Reach Battle Pass level 50 and claim the exclusive reward. | High |
| Lightning God (Overcharged) | Unresolved in published guides | Check the in-game Obtainment panel and current shops before choosing a route. | Low |
“Medium” or “low” does not mean a unit is unobtainable. It means the available guides disagree or omit a condition that the live game may enforce. Treat the client’s event panel, tooltip and rate display as authoritative when they differ from an older guide.
Start with the live event panel
Before farming, open the Summer Siege or Update 2.0 event interface and read each unit’s Obtainment entry. This prevents two common mistakes: spending Sand Dollars on a pool that has changed and following a route from an earlier update. The event has separate tracks, so a unit shown in a Villain Invasion or Warriors Saga menu is not automatically a Summer Siege unit.

- Open the event menu and select Summer Siege/Update 2.0.
- Open the unit list or Obtainment panel and inspect the route shown for Lightning God, Sovereign’s Portal and the capsule pool.
- Open the Summer Shop and note the displayed capsule cost and currency name.
- Open any capsule or portal rate panel before committing currency or materials.
- Record which objectives award Battle Pass experience and Bingo stamps so one run advances several tracks.
If the client does not show a route, do not infer one from a community list. A missing or changed tooltip is precisely where the published information is least reliable.
Summer Capsules: the four capsule units
Head Captain (Char), Rainman (Forecast), Sand (Alligator) and Water Mage (Scholar) are all reported in the Summer Capsule pool. The practical loop is straightforward: run Tidal Siege, collect Sand Dollars, buy capsules in the Summer Shop, and repeat until all four units are obtained.

- 【Strong Adsorption】The inspiration of the silicone phone suction case comes from the adhesive force of the octopus. Each suction cup phone mount is 3.15 inches long and 2.17 inches wide, with 24 independent suction cups providing a stronger and more stable suction force, so you don't have to worry about your phone falling during use.
- 【Back of Phone Suction Grip】Remove the adhesive film on the phone suction cup and stick it on the phone case. You can then fix the phone on any smooth surface, which is very convenient. (The phone suction cup cannot be removed and reused after being attached to the phone case. It is recommended to attach it to a regular phone case, not a valuable one.)
- 【Widely Used】Our non-slip silicone phone sticky grip mount attaches to almost any flat phone case and make it compatible with common mobile phones such as iPhone and Android. You can shoot, watch videos or video calls in the kitchen, gym, dance studio, bathroom and other places.
- 【Capture the Wonderful Picture】Whether you are a TikTok creator or just like to share videos and photos, this phone suction cup can help you hands-free capture wonderful videos and photos for sharing with friends.
- 【Note】You can fix the phone suction cup on a smooth surface such as a mirror or glass. If necessary, wipe the suction cup with a damp cloth to obtain stronger suction. Before releasing your hand, make sure the phone is firmly fixed. (Not applicable to rough walls, wooden surfaces, and other uneven surfaces)
How to buy capsules
- Queue for Tidal Siege and collect the event currency awarded by completed runs.
- Enter the Summer Shop from the event interface.
- Select Summer Capsule and verify the price shown by the current client.
- Purchase capsules one at a time or in the largest available bundle.
- After each purchase, check your collection and the capsule pity or guarantee display, if one is shown.
AllThingsHow’s September 3, 2026 guide reports a price of 100 Sand Dollars per Summer Capsule. Use that as a planning figure only; the in-game shop should decide what you actually pay if the event has been rebalanced.

Capsule rates differ materially between guides. NerdsChalk lists Rainman at 0.25%, Water Mage at 1%, Sand at 2.5% and Head Captain at 5%. AllThingsHow publishes another table, including Water Mage at 15%, Sand at 3.5%, Rainman at 1.5% and Head Captain at 0.25%. Those tables cannot both describe the same pool, and neither should replace the live rate panel.
Read the rate display immediately before buying. If the client shows separate banners, pity counters or rarity groups, make sure you are viewing Summer Capsule rather than a standard or legacy banner. Keep a record of your purchases if you are testing whether a pity counter advances; do not assume a counter carries between event banners unless the tooltip says so.
Sand Dollar budgeting
At the reported 100-Sand-Dollar price, every ten capsules would require 1,000 Sand Dollars. That is arithmetic for the stated price, not a promise about how many pulls any unit will require. A low listed rate can mean a long average wait, while a pity system can cap the worst case; only the current game interface can establish whether either applies.
Sharkfang (Abyssal): the Tidal Siege route
Sharkfang is not listed as a capsule reward. The detailed route places the unit in Coral Kingdom–Tidal Siege on Hard Mode and requires an item interaction during the run.

- SUPERIOR COMFORT — Unlike traditional circular ear buds, the design of EarPods is defined by the geometry of the ear. Which makes them more comfortable for more people than any other ear bud–style headphones.
- HIGH-QUALITY AUDIO — The speakers inside EarPods have been engineered to maximize sound output and minimize sound loss, which means you get high-quality audio.
- BUILT-IN REMOTE — EarPods with USB-C plug also include a built-in remote that lets you adjust the volume, control the playback of music and video, and answer or end calls with a pinch of the cord.
- COMPATIBILITY — Works with all devices that have a USB-C port.
- INTEGRATED MICROPHONE — A built-in microphone precisely captures your voice while you’re on the phone, taking a FaceTime call, or summoning Siri — so you’re always heard loud and clear.
Step-by-step route
- Choose Coral Kingdom–Tidal Siege and set the difficulty to Hard Mode.
- Fish until you obtain a Sharktooth Conch.
- Activate the conch before the run timer or stage ends. Waiting until the final seconds risks losing the trigger.
- Defeat the boss horde that appears after activation.
- Complete the stage rather than leaving after the boss encounter. The route description requires a finished stage.
- Check the post-run reward or collection screen for Sharkfang (Abyssal).
The conch, activation timing and boss-horde requirement are the important distinctions from an ordinary Tidal Siege clear. If Sharkfang does not unlock, first confirm Hard Mode, then confirm that the conch was activated before the run ended, and finally verify that the stage was completed after the horde was defeated.
Sovereign (Djinn): craft Sovereign’s Portal carefully
Sovereign is tied to Sovereign’s Portal, not to Summer Capsules. The reported crafting requirement is four Djinn’s Treasures, with materials farmed from Tier 5 content.
Material and portal sequence
- Farm the event’s Tier 5 content until you have the materials required for Djinn’s Treasures.
- Craft four Djinn’s Treasures, checking the portal recipe in the live interface before each craft.
- Open Sovereign’s Portal and read its tooltip for the current host and participant rules.
- Enter under the condition that the tooltip specifies, then complete the portal encounter.
- Confirm Sovereign (Djinn) in the reward or collection screen.
Two 2026 guides, NerdsChalk and AllThingsHow, report a 2% Sovereign roll for a non-host participant. A fan guide instead says hosting guarantees the unit. Because those statements produce completely different strategies, do not spend four Djinn’s Treasures until the current portal tooltip settles the question.
Tier 5 drop and pity claims
Anime Expeditions Hub reports a 4% Tier 5 material drop and a 25-run pity. The site labels those figures as reported data from an unaffiliated fan source. If your client displays a different drop rate, pity count or no pity at all, follow the client. A pity counter may also be tied to a particular portal or season, so do not assume progress transfers from an earlier event.

Kitsune: finish a Bingo board
Kitsune has the clearest non-combat route: complete one entire Kitsune Bingo board. One guide calls the required board Board #1, while the essential condition is the completed board rather than any individual square.
- Open the Kitsune Bingo track from the Summer Siege event menu.
- Review every square and identify tasks that overlap with Tidal Siege, Battle Pass or ordinary daily play.
- Complete squares until one board is fully marked.
- Claim the board completion reward; unfinished squares do not count as a completed board.
- Check your collection for Kitsune before moving to another board.
Run overlap is valuable here. If a Bingo square asks for activity that also grants Battle Pass experience or appears during Tidal Siege, complete both objectives in the same session instead of treating each track as a separate grind.
Jester: reach Season 2 Battle Pass level 50
Jester is the Season 2 Battle Pass exclusive reward. The unlock condition reported by the guides is level 50, followed by claiming the reward.
- Open the Season 2 Battle Pass screen and verify that Jester is shown at level 50.
- Earn Battle Pass experience through the available event objectives and regular play.
- Continue until the progress bar reaches level 50.
- Claim the level-50 reward manually if the track does not auto-claim it.
- Open your unit collection and confirm Jester is present.
Tidal Siege is reported to advance Battle Pass experience, so prioritizing that mode can move Jester progress while you farm Sand Dollars and work on Sharkfang. The exact amount of experience per run is not established here; use the current Battle Pass objective list for the authoritative values.

Lightning God (Overcharged): verify before spending anything
Lightning God is the only unit for which the published routes remain directly contradictory. One guide directs players to the current in-game Obtainment panel and shops. Another names Infinite Rose Kingdom–Act 1. A fan guide describes a Charged Dust Secret Portal. No single route is reliable enough to present as fact.
Safe decision process
- Open Lightning God (Overcharged) in the Summer Siege unit list.
- Select Obtainment or the equivalent route button and read the destination shown by your current client.
- Check whether the destination is a shop, Infinite Rose Kingdom–Act 1, a Charged Dust Secret Portal or another activity.
- Inspect the required currency, item and difficulty in the same screen.
- Only then farm or spend resources, and recheck the panel after any patch or event rotation.
Do not use the old Infinite Rose Kingdom–Act 1 route merely because it appears in a guide, and do not farm Charged Dust for a Secret Portal unless your client names that requirement. The uncertainty is about the route itself, not about the unit’s inclusion in the nine-unit Summer Siege checklist.
Independent reader supportYour contribution helps us test, update, and keep practical guides available for everyone.Currency, evolution materials and shop checks
Summer Siege uses more than one event resource, and similar names create avoidable mistakes.
| Item or cost | Reported figure | How to treat it |
|---|---|---|
| Summer Capsule | 100 Sand Dollars each in the September 3, 2026 AllThingsHow guide | Verify the live Summer Shop price before purchases. |
| Tier 5 material | 4% drop and 25-run pity reported by Anime Expeditions Hub | Unaffiliated fan-site figures; use the current drop and pity display. |
| Evolution material | 10,000 Event Coins in AllThingsHow; another source says 10,000 Sand Dollars | Confirm both the currency name and amount in the live shop. |
| Sovereign non-host roll | 2% reported by NerdsChalk and AllThingsHow | Check the portal tooltip because another guide says hosting guarantees Sovereign. |
Keep Sand Dollars reserved for capsules until the four capsule units are complete unless the shop or your chosen route requires an earlier purchase. Do not convert the reported evolution-material cost into a firm budget while the currency naming conflict remains.

Most efficient order for a full collection
The following sequence minimizes duplicated runs while leaving uncertain routes until the client confirms them.
- Audit the live event panel. Confirm Lightning God’s route, capsule price and rates, portal host rules, Bingo objectives and Battle Pass objectives.
- Run Tidal Siege first. This mode supplies Sand Dollars and is reported to progress Battle Pass experience and Bingo stamps. Use Hard Mode when pursuing Sharkfang.
- Attempt Sharkfang during Hard Mode clears. Fish for the Sharktooth Conch, activate it before the stage ends, defeat the boss horde and finish the run.
- Buy Summer Capsules at the displayed price. Continue until Head Captain, Rainman, Sand and Water Mage are collected; do not use conflicting web percentages for a spending forecast.
- Advance Kitsune Bingo and Season 2 Battle Pass together. Choose objectives that overlap with Tidal Siege and claim Kitsune after a full board and Jester after level 50.
- Farm Tier 5 materials for Sovereign. Craft four Djinn’s Treasures only after confirming whether hosting or joining is the favorable condition.
- Resolve Lightning God last or when the panel directs. Its route may require a different stage, shop currency or secret portal, so early farming can waste stamina and materials.
- Buy evolution materials only after checking the shop label. The reported 10,000-cost figures use different currency names.
Troubleshooting and common mistakes
A capsule purchase does not show the unit
Confirm that you bought a Summer Capsule rather than a standard banner item, then check the collection’s event or Update 2.0 category. If the capsule’s rate panel changed after a patch, use the new panel rather than an older screenshot.
Sharkfang did not unlock after a Tidal Siege clear
Verify all five conditions: Coral Kingdom–Tidal Siege, Hard Mode, Sharktooth Conch obtained, conch activated before the run ended, and the stage completed after defeating the boss horde. A normal-difficulty clear or an uncompleted run does not satisfy the detailed route.
Sovereign’s Portal gives a different result from a guide
Open the portal tooltip and identify whether the current version distinguishes host and non-host rewards. The reported 2% non-host rule and the reported host-guarantee rule cannot be applied simultaneously; the live tooltip takes precedence.
Evolution materials show the wrong currency
Do not assume Event Coins and Sand Dollars are interchangeable. One September guide says 10,000 Event Coins per evolution material, while another lists 10,000 Sand Dollars. Check the purchase confirmation window and cancel if the displayed currency is not the one you intended to spend.
A guide sends you to an older update
Villain Invasion and Warriors Saga are earlier update tracks, not confirmed Summer Siege unlock routes. Return to the Update 2.0 event panel and use the route attached to the unit in your current client.
