Use the value where it belongs, or remove the declaration. If the check must remain enabled for the rest of the project but cannot be avoided in a particular case, Angular documents a way to suppress it in tsconfig.json.
What NG8112 means
NG8112 flags an @let declaration whose value is never read in the template. For example, a template might define fullName from a user’s first and last names but render only “Welcome,” without using fullName. Angular documents the diagnostic at NG8112: Unused @let declaration.

The unused declaration is not necessarily inert: Angular says its expression is evaluated whenever the template updates. If that expression calls a function, the function still runs even though the declared value is never read.

How to fix NG8112
Use the declared value
If the template needs the value, reference the variable in the relevant binding or interpolation. In the greeting example, render fullName as part of the message.

Remove an unnecessary declaration
If the value is not needed, delete the @let declaration. Unused declarations can be leftovers from refactoring or indicate that a value was meant to be used but was omitted.
Suppress the diagnostic only when necessary
If the declaration cannot be used or removed and the project needs to silence this check, Angular documents setting angularCompilerOptions.extendedDiagnostics.checks.unusedLetDeclaration to "suppress" in tsconfig.json:
