Amazon has launched the Alexa Tablet 11 in the United States starting at $329.99, which is the price headlines round to $329. The base model has 8GB of RAM and 64GB of storage, an 11-inch 2560 × 1600 IPS display with a 90Hz refresh rate, and a MediaTek MT8189 processor. Amazon announced the device on October 8, 2026. Its pricing, specifications, and shipping dates are manufacturer statements, and independent testing of performance, display quality, and battery life had not been published when this article was written.
What the $329.99 price buys
Amazon’s announcement lists the Alexa Tablet 11 at $329.99 as its US starting price, with 8GB of RAM and 64GB of storage in the base configuration. Amazon’s developer specification page also lists a 128GB storage option. The official sources reviewed for this article do not state what that version costs, so do not assume the 128GB model carries the same price.

Display: 11 inches, 90Hz, 16:10
Amazon describes an 11-inch screen with a 2.5K resolution, 276 pixels per inch, and a 90Hz refresh rate in a 16:10 aspect ratio. Amazon’s technical specification page gives the panel as 2560 × 1600 IPS. A 90Hz refresh rate means the screen can update up to 90 times per second, which typically makes scrolling and touch response look smoother than on a 60Hz panel. Brightness, color accuracy, and real-world smoothness are not measured in the sources reviewed, so treat these as specifications rather than verified quality.
Processor and memory
Amazon’s developer page names the system-on-chip as the MediaTek MT8189. Its listed configuration is:

Software: Alexa+ and Google Play
Amazon says Alexa+ is built into the tablet. In its announcement, the company said, “Alexa+ is built in with the same Dynamic Tab, voice and touch access, and personalized intelligence.” Amazon also says the tablet runs Android and can access apps from the Google Play Store.

TechCrunch reported on October 8, 2026 that Amazon described the Alexa Tablet line as a new product family with new hardware and a new operating system, not a rebrand of the Fire Tablet. That is Amazon’s characterization, relayed by TechCrunch, rather than a finding from independent testing. App compatibility, update support, and day-to-day software behavior remain unverified.

Notebookcheck’s launch coverage lists a fabric folio, a plant-based leather folio, a screen protector, a stylus with replacement tips, and a Bluetooth keyboard case for the Tablet 11. That is secondary reporting, and Amazon’s announcement does not list these Tablet 11 folio models. Confirm each item’s model compatibility on a live product listing before buying.

What is still unverified
- Battery life beyond Amazon’s 15-hour video playback claim
- Display brightness, color accuracy, and touch responsiveness
- Processor performance and thermal behavior under sustained load
- Software support length and app behavior on Google Play
- Pricing for the 128GB storage option
Independent reviews are the only way to answer these questions. Until they appear, the specifications above describe what Amazon has announced, not how the tablet performs.
